I'd rather work out with a friend than alone. That way we can encourage and motivate each other.
I have started a program of food substitutions for life, designed by the University of Maryland, and I started a program called gettin fit for the master.
I now work out at the gym and walk more. I feel much better, lost 50 pounds, doin it slow and the right way. It has been a year and I have not gained
any back.
High protein low carbs low fats, then running/biking, then lift heavy stuff in different directions.
If you all really want to loose some lbs, try keto-diet...basically you switch your engery production from carbs to the fat storage in your body, works great for the most serious about dieting.
I try to eat as much protein/low fat as possible since I know I don't slow down and eat regularly as I should. Helps me not to crash and burn.![]()
I believe it's very important to look after your body but in saying so there is a fine line between caring for your body and becoming self centered!! You have to be very careful with regards to this. I have seen it happen to so many people.
