Hello,

who is in a church where the priest or the parents plan marriages without asking the partners? It is common in the islamic countries and in India. But it is always better to marry when the partners love each other.

I will quote a Bible passage in this context, Acts 19, 1-7:
And it happened that while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the inland1 country and came to Ephesus. There he found some disciples. And he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” And they said, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” And he said, “Into what then were you baptized?” They said, “Into John’s baptism.” And Paul said, “John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in the one who was to come after him, that is, Jesus.” On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking in tongues and prophesying. There were about twelve men in all.

One can only be born again if he had the fulfillment of the Holy Spirit in his heart. You have to have this very feeling which make you lead a changed life in Jesus. Otherwise you build up your own way to live like Jesus and you will always fail. Perhaps it is better for you to understand that.

By the way: You should immediately change church community which practices both infant baptism and arranged weddings.

If planned marriages are destined to fail, then I have to ask for some evidence.

That's not to say I support planned marriages, I believe people should pick their own spouse. But couples who had their marriages planned do tend to be happy.

There is only one true Church and that is
Hebrews 8:2a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man.
We are not of this we are just in it the ones that believe
