God, I'm so confused right now
The signs aren't always clear
I long to be in Heaven with You
Especially in times I can't feel You near

My family has abandoned me
And society is my demise
When my strength is all but gone
I simply close my eyes

I imagine a place of eternal peace
The one that I hail from
For now it only exists in my dreams
Though soon it won't be so

I'll be home again someday
The blink of an eye, is all it'll take

A sigh of relief and strength renewed
