"Play anywhere in the back yard, but do not to touch the poison ivy, cause it will make you itch."

How many of us went on to purposely touch the poison ivy?
How about if the spiteful eavesdropping neighbor had stuck his head over the fence and said "Nah, it won't make you itch. He's just messing with you."

I've always lived in the city, so i don't even know what poison ivy looks like!!

i was marking some property lines on some family land last year and got into some poison ivy. i did not see it until after i touched it.( it was on the oppisite side of a tree i was marking). if i saw it, i would not have touched it. like it was said above, how many times have we seen poison and touched it anyway?
