"Get Back" Poem by Brian Baker (Inspired by the song "Get Back" by Nine Lashes)
Welcome to the cold world
So much to prove to the world
Spreading God’s word
So young
With a powerful tongue
Though the years have past
Raised in a Christian home
Have had your up’s and down’s
Have your thoughts of God
Though sat in the back of the church every Sunday
Have your doubts on God
Though still follow the evils of the cold world
Would rather follow celebs, fashion, and how the world wants you to live
You must get back to where you were
Get back little Christian
Get back
