Have any of you included ghee in your diet? I already heard about the wonders of coconut oil, but this comes from good ol' fashioned butter...the fat solids. I read this link yesterday and want to try eating it more. I first heard about in on the Veria channel from the Yogi Cameron guru guy who helps people with their physical problems. I think it's more popular in India. What do you guys think about ghee? thoughts?

I don't know about this article but I live in India (or rather Delhi at present) where a large chunk of Punjabis (populations) whose typical diet consists of ghee live. And I can tell you for sure that among different communities of India, Punjabis are known (open secret)to suffer from heart or fat related (like cholesterol) diseases the most. So, personally, I would not recommend ghee in your diet.

Sanglina: I guess your area in North East India has different food customs yet again.

Maybe if you are fond of dairy stuffs and oil. As for me, I am neither fond of oil nor of dairy stuffs so hardly makes a difference to me.

Oh yeah, definitely. Our food habits are as different as chalk is to cheese. For instance, we rarely use oil in our foods whereas mainland Indians (especially north Indians) use oil in all their meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
