Interesting… thanks for sharing, so basically the Word… which is God will speak to the Holy Spirit (also God) living inside us and teach us.
The Holy Spirit teaches thru a proper study and understanding of Scripture.
All truth is revealed in the Scripture and it is only thru much prayer and proper study we can understand.
This takes much prayer, time, dedication, a burning desire to know, proper study, and a willingness to have the Scripture change your mind.
The Holy Spirit will never reveal what has not been studied.
Just because a teacher has a PHD, a great reputation, and uses elegant words does not mean he is right or should not be questioned.
And lastly, You must be a child of God (saved) and I fellowship with Him.

I'm not Orthodox. But they deliver the message of Jesus Christ in a way that brings Him profound glory. I've learned a great deal from my Orthodox brothers. Just listened to this a few moments ago.

The devil is a troll.

I went to Harvest Festival in Sacramento around that same time. I also regularly attended the church in Auburn, CA that Greg pastors.

My home church in Sacramento tried to unite with Calvary Chapel, but they insist that you profess dispensational teachings to become a member. Wisely our elders declined. Haven't had much to do with Calvary Chapel since then.

Oral Roberts was the one who said he saw a 900 foot Jesus in the wilderness who told him to raise 8 million dollars or He would call him home.
And someone wrote him a check too. SMH

Hebrews 13:17 – On obeying church leaders:

“Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.”

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves."

The obvious prosperity preachers you can be sure to avoid. I get myself into trouble is when I watch some of the Pentecostal and Charasmatic preachers….. not all, but some ….and you have to be able to discern what is real and what is BS.

I’ve read about some crazy stories and miracles and I want them to be true. But who knows…

God never got out of the miracle business. I've seen way too many in my own life. My life began with a miracle. My life began again with a miracle. But I've never seen one on TV, or at some healing crusade.
If a preacher claims to have the gift of healing, he needs to be in the hospitals, the children's homes, the mental institutions, the homeless camps. Until I see that, he's just another charlatan to me.

Concerning miracles in general,
if nothing is impossible with God, then there's no big miracles, no little miracles, the degree of difficulty for God is the same whether He is parting the Red Sea or painting the lillie's of the field.

If there's anything God finds difficult, truly difficult, its probably bringing salvation to the soul of man. God spoke our world into existence with a few small words.
But God may have to speak to a man for years, decades even, to bring light and life into his soul. And that man may still refuse.

So I listened about 15 minutes.
I have zero problem with the idea of God using men to heal. Even something as out of the ordinary as regrowing a limb. I wasn't there and did not witness it myself, but I acknowledge the possibility that it could have happened just as he said.

As for his teachings on the fourth dimension. He may be 100% correct, and he may have received direct revelation on the topic. But here's my take.

Priorities. My number one priority in life is to know Christ. Second, is to do His will, that I might make Christ known to others. Which means the focus of my life is to be more like Christ. If I have sanctified myself in the Spirit, I'm a pure vessel fit for Godly service. Should Christ desire to use me in some miraculous way, there should be nothing in my life that hinders Him. And it will be done. Zero esoteric knowledge required. But if I spend my time seeking esoteric knowledge and signs and wonders, or how to perform them. I am not seeking Christ, but His gifts.
Seek ye first...

I can attest to that. There but by the grace of God go I (for that last part, also, for I dearly did not
want to be a Christian when the Light started dawning for real for realz... ) And then, one of those
real life miracles happened... or maybe it was a series of them. The culmination being the realization
that my opposition to God had been worn down to zero: I needed no more convincing of the Truth
of God's revealed written Word, and I finally surrendered my will and my life to Him.

Pastor Greg is my Pastor and Harvest is 4 miles from me. His Harvest 'Crusades' are held each summer for 35 yrs now here in SoCal at Angel Stadium, except for 1 yr at the Honda Center. They are bringing in thousands of new believers each year and his Sunday services do the same in converting lost souls. You can see him on 'Harvest at Home' over the weekends usually every few hours they rerun the weekly message.

I thought of you when Pastor Greg was mentioned. .:D. I think Steve Gregg has mentioned Harvest also, or at least Calvary. I had to look these words up to see if Calvary and Harvest with Pastor Greg are associated. Steve Gregg was part of the Jesus movement also, or is it called the Jesus revolution? There was a movie last year about them, of the teenage Greg Laurie (portrayed by Joel Courtney), Christian hippie Lonnie Frisbee (Jonathan Roumie of The Chosen fame), and pastor Chuck Smith (Kelsey Grammer) as they take part in the Jesus movement in California during the late 1960s. Steve Greg has made mention of his association with them a number of times when relevant, and recently said he thought of amalgamating with them in the past, but their dispensationalist views were a deterrent to him.

Steve Gregg's Calvary Church is an offshoot from the original and he's on a different note. Our church does not linger on things like dispensationalism but mainly on Bible lessons and salvation. In fact, I never heard of him til now, my bad, lol.

You have prompted me to look deeper into Steve Greg's history .:D. I have been listening to him for a while now, ever since kari55.com (which is a radio station but also online 24/7/365) started airing his daily Narrow Path program, which was recently expanded from 30 minutes to an hour (Focus on the Family went bye bye from kari for some reason unknown to me). Anywho, I very much enjoy Steve's phone-in question and answer format, as it covers a wide variety of topics, and his knowledge is extensive enough, and himself gracious enough, to explain in depth multiple viewpoints on any one issue with the accompanying Scriptures that support each position.

So I am just now reading his very interesting bio: The Narrow Path | The Biography of Steve Gregg

PS ~ I recommend listening to kari55.com to anyone looking to broaden their understanding of Scripture .:)

I cannot say I fully agree with every teacher presented but I can say I learn from them all.
