A little background first. It has been raining here almost everyday for over a month here in my corner of Ohio. Today did the Lord bless us with good weather, clear skies and fair sunshine. So it is that today being a day of fair weather that I went forth to help mine elderly neighbor, the very same of whom I spake in another topic that the Lord had led us to reconcile our old feud when I had prayed to him to give me the opportunity to reconcile our feud.

After mowing my neighbor's lawn for him I went forth to mow mine own lawn. As I went to mow, behold mine lawnmower was out of gas. I went to fill it up and behold my gas can was out of gas too! So I had to fill mine gas can. Now this is for me, not as simple as it may seem by the writing, for I must walk myself about a mile to the gas station, which is not a problem for indeed I am strong of the legs, but for today it is particularly hot and muggy, and I was all ready heated from working earlier, and was near faint having only had but two slices of bread to eat earlier in the morning. Nevertheless walk I did and as I walked behold I hear one call out my name. It was a childhood friend of mine that had moved away named Mike and he had spotted me just before he was about to leave to get on the highway. He gave me a ride to the gas station and back to mine house (which is even more goodly for the walk back is up a large steep hill), and he even paid for my gasoline, the sum of which was 3 dollars. I offered to pay for it thrice, for I did indeed have the money in had having worked for my neighbor earlier, but he refused. He spake a little to me saying he was in town because his mother had died. He said he was doing well, had a good job, and that he was getting married soon to his long time girlfriend.

So it is a trully written, "God will provide" and here is but the least of testimonies from one of the least of the Americans that the Lord trully provided for me to fill mine tank, and he provided help for mine elderly neighbor, and for mine household, and lifted me up as my flesh waxed weakly, and provided for mine whole area a fair weather day, and he also has been providing and continues to provide for mine friend. Praise Jesus.

May all those who read the words of this testimony pray in privacy for mine friend Mike that his wedding be blessed by Jesus and that he provide in abundance for him. Praise the Lord.

Praise the Lord, you were blessed that day. Good for you for mowing your neighbors lawn. I am not able to mow my own lawn because I have trouble working the mower, I am not strong enough. I'm a girl/woman, if that is any excuse. My mom has trouble mowing the lawn, so my dad has to do it, but he is getting very old and I worry he may not be able to in a few years and we will have to hire someone to mow the lawn. I wonder if I built myself up with exercise and weight lifting I might be able to work the lawn mower, but God did make women weaker than men, despite all the "woman warrior" craze and nonsense this world is into these days. I did dig up a lot of weeds, and mom and I bought some mini rose plants for the flower bed. I like flowers and would like to have a nice garden with lots of flowers.

If you say you lack the strength for it, I am wondering if you mean to pull the starting cord. I don't have one, but I know there are certain lawnmowers made where you can just turn a switch and they start easily. If it be that you mean not strong enough to push the mower, there is also certain mowers that are "self-propelled" that you just have to squeeze a lever and they move forward of themselves and you just have to walk behind them and guide them.

Also roses are nice indeed, my mom planted some little roses this year, but this does remind me and make me miss a magnificent rose I had that I planted as a child and that lasted for many years and would bloom as a massive pink flower.

Also just to add, the testimony is how God does provide, doing work for a neighbor does not make one good or righteous, for indeed they do pay me well enough at 15 dollars, though I would do it for free and tell them, but they always insist three times when I offer three times to do it for free so I have to take the money so as not to offend them. The righteousness is of the Lord and how he provides for them, and me, and everyone all the time. As I wrote earlier this is but the least of testimonies that I have witnessed, but it happened just today, even only hours ago and made me so happy I felt compelled to share it that you and others might know that God will provide for you too and also that mayhap some might pray for goodness for my old friend Mike to reward him for his kindness.
