God in your dreams

Was there anytime in your life, maybe before you started reading the bible, going to church etc...

that you saw God speaking to you in your dreams?

i think He spoke in mine last night

And in the dream, i was asked to find my favorite scripture...except i didnt have one, because i've never read the bible. However i knew that my favorite was one about God's undying love for us.

I have had God come in one of my dreams but I still highly question whether or not the dream was actually from Him. Did you see God speaking or just hear God speaking?

well i think i heard him. It was more of a feeling like "Come find me"

I know I heard God talk to me in a dream years ago. I had been praying for a mountain in my life to be moved, one that had caused me much distress, and after seven months of prayers, one night in the middle of my dream I heard "Your prayers have been heard." And I'm sure it was from God and not perhaps me dreaming it up because I can't mentally duplicate the voice. Also, I'm sure God would not want me to be deceived, as well as the fact that, a few months later, the mountain was in fact moved!

Hmm well when I was REALLY little there was one dream where I dreamed that God was speaking. But the dream was very sad and disturbing to say the least so I better not go into it. But, yes, I have dreamed where God was speaking. Whether it really was God or just a dream, I have no idea.

i used to have really bad nightmares and sometimes I still have them. If I remember to pray or call out to God in them then the demons chasing me go away and the dreams are more peaceful. sometimes I have dreams where I talk to angels and we discuss the state of the world. I remember some of the conversation but I find the moral lessons about love and forgiveness have a more lasting effect. :)

I think you should read your Bible more and if you have the dream again you can bring it to mind which verse if your favorite. there are alot about God's love.



that's one of my favorites :)

I'm working on discerning what is right and wrong and when to tell it's God or the adversary. I look for God in my daily life signs that people say or do..please pray for me and discernment it's something I struggle with..

Dreams are metaphoric. Often if we dream of our natural fathers...our dads, it is the Lord showing us something about HIM. For He is are FATHER. Likewise, sometimes when women have a dream and their husbands are in the dream, it is the Lord showing you something about HIM, for HE is our husband and WE are the Bride.
