I Had told my first Wife that because she was the one cheating on me all the time I wouldn't pay for the divorce.........
But haveing decided to Marry Nancy I had to eat my words and pay for it.....it was a simple uncontested no mutual property divorce so quick & Easy....
The Divorce finalized and all paperwork signed and lawyer paid on a Wednesday,
Courthouse booked for wedding on Saturday....
I was at the courthouse picking up my wedding license when I bumped into the divorce lawyer...He told me I didn't need to be here to pick up anything and such... I explained that I was picking up a marriage license....
He, with a chuckle, said I like you!!! Your going to keep me in business for a long time!!
Well....... lawyer has since retired and I believe passed away....38 years later still married!!!!!!
GOD got the last laugh...
