I know this is a long post but it is a testimony to the awesomeness of ( MY HOLY FATHER-I LOVE YOU BACK)
When I was 4 yrs old my great-grandmother(she was 94 at the time) came to live with my Grandmother my family lived beside my grandmother. From the first memory of my GGM I fell in love with her we just had some kind of connection-she was 94 lived alone worked her farm carried buckets of water to her horses raised a garden washed clothes on washboard. I thought she was amazing seemed like there wasn't anything she couldn't do.
She shortly thereafter had a stroke and she came to live with my GM-her daughter, everyday I would take her food to her then I'd climb in bed with her and she would tell me stories of the past about the Shaman coming to to her home and old home remedies, she capitivated my entire attention.
I am the youngest of 4 girls at this time our ages were 15, 10, 8, and I was 4. We lived in a very rural isolated area, and we were very poor though at the time I had no idea of that because I had everything I needed. So we didn't have toys we spent our time running up in the hills swinging on grapevines running in the creek. The closet town was 45 min away. Mom and Dad usually went to town on Saturdays to get things we needed sometimes we went with them and sometimes we would stay home.
I don't recall ever going to church because there were no churches close by and transportation was an
issue, Dad worked away during the week and came home on Fridays and headed back out on Sundays
Mom was working on her GED.
Fast forward some, to the age of 5 and now my GGM is 95; Mom, Dad, Granny, and my Dad's sister(she lived with my GM ) went to town, this was on a Saturday. My oldest sister then 16 was left in charge so we were at my GM house to stay with my GGM(I called maw) anyways my two oldest sisters were taking care of cleaning the house and told my sister that was 9 and me to go outside and play til they got the inside chores done;
Well we decided we were going to go up the holler running and playing in the creek and find us some good grapevines to swing on. That was a good plan--fun, fun!! my sister was in front of me and I was
running in the creek behind her all of a sudden I heard a voice say "Go Home" I didn't pay it much attention kept running the creek, Then I heard the voice again say, "GO Home" it was a little louder and deep man's voice. I stopped running and stood in the creek looking around to see who was yelling at me to go home. No one was there , so my sister hollered at me and said come on I was hesitant but I didn't tell her about the voice because I knew she hadn't heard it-didn't know how I knew she hadn't heard it but I knew it;
She don't me to come on so I started running in the creek behind her again; Then all of a sudden, for the Third time I heard, "GO HOME NOW" this time the voice was very loud like roaring thunder, needless to say I stopped dead in my tracks turned around and started running as fast and hard as I could towards my GM house and my sister was hollering at me to come back needless to say I ignored her and kept running to the house, I was running and the whole way back I had an overwhelming feeling that I had to get to "MAW" and I wasn't stopping til I got to her.
I ran in the house and my 2nd oldest sister was blocking the doorway going into were "Maw" was and
my oldest sister was in the room with Maw. Here I am 5 yr old and my sister blocking the door was 11.
I remember pulling and pushing at her screaming "Maw" and telling her to let me in and my oldest sister was telling my sister blocking the door to not let me in.
Well, I was persistent and finally I managed to push or shove my way past my sister and ran over to the bed were "Maw" was and she turned her head toward me and sit up in the bed and she was smiling at me then she turned her head and looked up towards heavan and raised both hands up in the air reaching while looking up and with her arms outstretched toward heavan she said, "I'm coming home,
JESUS" and then she just fell back on the bed and was gone home to JESUS!!!
The significance of this--until that moment--when she raised her hands up and uttered the name JESUS
I can not recall hearing the name "JESUS"
Since I didn't recall hearing the name of JESUS before, I kept asking everybody who JESUS was and wanting to know about JESUS asking my Mom, Granny, Aunt, and when went to town asked ppl if they knew JESUS and ask them what they knew about him. I had to know, That was the last name that the woman I thought the sun rose and set by was going home to so I wanted to know who he was were he was at, and wanting to know why she loved him so much that she was going to see him not her son that had died several years ago that she never got over his death everyone would say, but she wanted to go to see this man named JESUS to me that said enough because if Maw wanted to go to him then he must be something amazing!!! and I knew when she smiled at me before she died there was a reason the voice told me to go HOME,, He is amazing and he saw my heart and knew how much the short time he loaned her to me meant. He was also answering, I do believe a faithful servants prayer (my Maw) because I know she loved me also and wanted to see me again someday and she knew the only way for that to happen was for her to introduce me him.
I know that 5 is awful young and may sound strange because ppl say kids don't understand, I knew from her smile at me was an answer to her prayers from GOD because she wanted to make sure I heard his name because she told me all the stories of her past growing up but she hadn't told me about JESUS and she knew how much I loved stories so she left me with the greatest story and a hunger to hear all about JESUS - a lifetime of stories to seek after all the days of my life and still today I think of her, I have to, she would always tell ppl when they came around, they would tell us kids to go play so that adults could visit with MAW my sisters would leave and every time I would start to leave the room MAW would whisper in my ear you don't have to go-I was always right beside her laying in bed when I was indoors and my granny and others would tell me to go on outside and play and MAW would speak up and say: "she don't have to leave" it was custom for kids to leave the room the way I was raised when grown ups visited. So if they questioned her why she felt it ok I stayed, she would always say something to the fact-"this one is different she is a special gift"
I've read on the formums about God speaking to us in dreams, I have also experienced this to.
This is just one of my many testimonies to the Greatest Man I've Ever KNOWN, but this testimony reveals that even if you don't understand-just trust, be faithful, and obedient to MY FATHER!!

Did you notice it was three times I heard him tell me-I never connected that til here recently Peter was asked 3 times if he loved JESUS and Peter also denied knowing Christ 3 times.
Just be obedient when he tells you to do something even if you think well that is crazy, trust him and do it; because if everything had a rational explaination that he asked for us to do -how would he get the glory it is out of the craziness that ppl have to realize that could only be done through GOD!!! AMEN!!
