A little rap/poem I wrote:
Lord broken I come before you cause I know that I aint livin right
Speak with breath you give and yet wont glorify the risen Christ
I reak of death and sin abides inside you know a sinner's plight
I find the tide of life I ride consigns me to this inner strife
I pray for life...cause without you death is all I see
Save me from my flesh God let your boundless grace just fall on me
Solemnly I think about the day I heard you callin me
And yet I fall so short of everything I know I oughtta be
Apart from grace there aint no place for me, not a taste of life
But in my place you paid the price and afterword you came to life
Took me out the dark, broke me apart to see your savin light
From cannanite to made in Christ I await the day I'm raised to life
Until that day I guess its war, forsake myself for somethin more
To live is Christ...this is grace worth dyin for
