INGREDIENTS

9 Cups of flour
5 Tablespoons baking powder
6 eggs
3 cups of sugar
1 1/2 cups Crisco or Lard
¾ can of evaporated canned milk

Makes about 4 dozen

COMBINE flour, eggs, sugar, crisco and mix by hand. Add milk, a little at a time while kneading the dough.

After the dough is completely kneaded, let it sit for 1-2 hours before baking.

SHAPE into 2" balls and flatten on ungreased cookie sheet about one inch apart. For added flavor, sprinkle the tops lightly with sugar before baking.

BAKE at 375 in conventional oven for 10 - 15 minutes or until golden brown on the bottom.
