Every since I was little I oddly just loved graveyards! At 4 I even had a saying I loved to use "Cold as death" I would always ask to go to them and was never afraid but rather excited at graveyards! I'm still lik this. I was thinking how cool it would be to go to one at Christmas! How beautiful they would b with th snow! After this thought I strted contemplating th weirdness of this interest of mine...

I have no clue what strted it, I didn't experience any deaths in my family at my young age. Well mayb a goldfish, but that's typical.

If I was a Wiseman I would hav probably been th one to bring myrrh to Jesus as a tod * giggles* I don't know, is it strange for someone to love graveyards so much? Does anyone else lik going to them just for fun?

I do like going to graveyard to contemplate the meaning of life. Apart from God there is no meaning, I walk around reading the names and the small phrases on the stones and I wonder will I see them in Heaven? Or was their life only a passing shadow, who will remember them in their grave? Did they do anything that was worth while? Did they throw away the gift of Gods grace? I reflect on myself, what will I be remembered for? What am I doing with my life right now? Am I seeking after the Lord...its important.

The only thing I would say is that I find a lot of demons linger in graveyards...and I'm also reminded of this massage from Mark 5

"5 Then they came to the other side of the sea, to the country of the Gadarenes.[SUP][a][/SUP] [SUP]2 [/SUP]And when He had come out of the boat, immediately there met Him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, [SUP]3 [/SUP]who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no one could bind him,[SUP][b][/SUP] not even with chains, [SUP]4 [/SUP]because he had often been bound with shackles and chains. And the chains had been pulled apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces; neither could anyone tame him. [SUP]5 [/SUP]And always, night and day, he was in the mountains and in the tombs, crying out and cutting himself with stones.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]When he saw Jesus from afar, he ran and worshiped Him. [SUP]7 [/SUP]And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.”
[SUP]8 [/SUP]For He said to him, “Come out of the man, unclean spirit!” [SUP]9 [/SUP]Then He asked him, “What is your name?”
And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion; for we are many.” [SUP]10 [/SUP]Also he begged Him earnestly that He would not send them out of the country.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]Now a large herd of swine was feeding there near the mountains. [SUP]12 [/SUP]So all the demons begged Him, saying, “Send us to the swine, that we may enter them.” [SUP]13 [/SUP]And at once Jesus[SUP][c][/SUP] gave them permission. Then the unclean spirits went out and entered the swine (there were about two thousand); and the herd ran violently down the steep place into the sea, and drowned in the sea.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]So those who fed the swine fled, and they told it in the city and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that had happened. [SUP]15 [/SUP]Then they came to Jesus, and saw the one who had been demon-possessed and had the legion, sitting and clothed and in his right mind. And they were afraid. [SUP]16 [/SUP]And those who saw it told them how it happened to him who had been demon-possessed, and about the swine. [SUP]17 [/SUP]Then they began to plead with Him to depart from their region.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]And when He got into the boat, he who had been demon-possessed begged Him that he might be with Him. [SUP]19 [/SUP]However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, “Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He has had compassion on you.” [SUP]20 [/SUP]And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled."

My only comment would be this, you are not meant to dwell among the dead...if you are a Christian you are alive in Christ. Ask the Lord to release you from anything demonic in this area in Jesus name...and continue to seek Him.

I also wanna tell you...I liked your joke about the myrrh haha

Thanks Lyd!

Nevr noticed that about th scripture! I pretty much do th same thing u do at them :) I was told this verse about my interest.

"It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart. Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better. The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth." Eccl. 7:2-4

So strange I think for sorrow to be better than laughter! I thought this was such a oddly cool verse... I'm really thankful for th warning never heard of demonic spirits dwelling their. Makes since though as I think of it ;)
