Hey everyone! My name is Darrell, though I'm also called by Felix or just plain "D". I'm 23 and I live in Anaheim, CA (right by Disneyland). I've been a Follower of Christ for about 5 years now, and essentially wanted to join this community because I have terrible insomnia and need people to talk to at 4am. D : When the majority of your day is spent without any significant human contact, it kind of wears on you after a while (having my off sleep schedule and being in between jobs and all, but luckily school is starting back up soon).
I'm pretty much an odd ball through and through. You could say I'm of the "Gothic" persuasion: I have really long hair, I generally wear all black, have a few piercings, appreciate the arts and nostalgic imagery (e.g. abandoned buildings, cemeteries), etc etc. I listen to a very wide spectrum of music, though my favorites would have to be The Awakening, Joel Chernoff, Paul Wilbur, VNV Naiton, Swithblade Symphony, Cindergarden, Black Tape for a Blue Girl, Declaration, Orphaned Land, Unexpect, mewithoutYou, Neutral Milk Hotel, Noah and the Whale, Dinosaur Jr., Siouxsie and the Banshees, and a whole bunch of others. I also write electronic music of my own and I've been playing the violin for 4.5 years. I'm a writer, poet, thespian, martial artist, and a few other things on top of that.
That's me in a nutshell, I'm looking forward to getting to know you guys!
