Satan will inspire his followers to harass you at every opportunity, but if you hang on to your integrity (obey the commandments of Jesus), you will never be moved:

Cast your burden on the LORD,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 RSV

  1. Proverbs 15:29
The Lord is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the [consistently] righteous (the upright, in right standing with Him).
Proverbs 15:28-30 (in Context) Proverbs 15 (Whole Chapter)
  2. Proverbs 16:8
Better is a little with righteousness (uprightness in every area and relation and right standing with God) than great revenues with injustice.
Proverbs 16:7-9 (in Context) Proverbs 16 (Whole Chapter)
  3. Proverbs 18:10
The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the [consistently] righteous man [upright and in right standing with God] runs into it and is safe, high [above evil] and strong.
Proverbs 18:9-11 (in Context) Proverbs 18 (Whole Chapter)
  4. Proverbs 19:21
Many plans are in a man's mind, but it is the Lord's purpose for him that will stand.
Proverbs 19:20-22 (in Context) Proverbs 19 (Whole Chapter)
  5. Proverbs 21:15
When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous (the upright, in right standing with God), but to the evildoers it is dismay, calamity, and ruin.
Proverbs 21:14-16 (in Context) Proverbs 21 (Whole Chapter)

sometimes you can't hear God's voice over the marching band playing around you. I guess that is why we need to set time aside for prayer. :)

thanks for the encouraging words Res33
