The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear HIM, and hope in HIS Steadfast Love.
The fear of the LORD is the fear to do evil. It is the hatred of evil; and evil is anything contrary to GOD’S WORD.
Always hate evil.
Always fear to do evil.

GOD loves us but HE hates evil. We must be HOLY as our FTHER is HOLY.

7 Someone might argue, “If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?” 8 Why not say—as some slanderously claim that we say—“Let us do evil that good may result”? Their condemnation is just!

to hate sin is to be self-righteous (because we are never holy)
