I can just see the Lord standing there with them, stones up ready to cast them.

I wonder if the Lord had said other things to them also.

I was thinking about them with their stones and saying, ''She has broken the law, what should we do?'' trying to tempt him.

And I can see him saying, ''What is written in the law.''

And them saying, ''Thou shalt not commit adultery''

And Him saying, ''Doesn't it also say in the law that anyone that does not continue in every word of the law shall also be put to death?''

And I can see the looks on their faces.

And I can see Jesus saying, ''Anyone of you who has not broken any of the law, cast your stone.''

And I can see them walking looking shameful.

Indeed, the Lord is full of mercy, and so should we be.
