Here is a Christian site that has great advice for health, exercise and some motivational stuff too. I just figured while getting ready for the New Year it seems like a great place to start.

Nothing wrong with getting fit and healthy, I wouldn't recommend the web site
posted however as he is not a Christian, looks to be a Buddhist or Hindu.

He mentions the "inner self" a lot and doesn't say anything about Jesus in his
comments and blog.

What you put in is what you get out. Like a computer programmed with junk, you get junk.
Your body is a temple.
Stop making multi national companies rich. They don't care about you. It all about profits.
And their processed food, many of the ingredients are not even listed, are making you'all physically, mentally and emotionally diseased.
Give local farmers, people who bust their butts to make a honest living, a chance. Organic and plant food are your healthy choices for a new year.

My friend went to a invite only future of the food supply conference in NYC recently. Hosted by Nestle. Many, many shakers and movers in the industry there. Many of them worth tens and even hundreds of millions. Some of the things my friend told me about what they are proposing, and what they are planning and pouring hundreds of millions of dollars into, and what they are presently doing, is chilling.
It is outright evil.
They know what they are doing is detrimental to hundreds of millions of people, billions, and just do not care. They said it in so many words my friend said.
Good luck to anyone who believes in them.

No, he is definitely a Christian. Read "Chicken and the Egg"
https://next40yearsbest40years.wordpress.com/2016/11/28/the-chicken-and-the-egg/

and "Connecting the Dots" https://next40yearsbest40years.wordpress.com/2016/10/29/featured-content-2/

Reaching the Father is exclusively through Jesus is mentioned.

It's a health and fitness site written by a Christian for everybody. It's not a Christian site written for Christians only. Besides I know him. It is his fitness ministry. I'm sure once he gets more people following he will plant more seeds and water them. If you actually read them with the presumption that he is a Christian you can see that most of the messages are biblical. There is a "Two Minute Tune-Up" that gets updated regularly with great information. I appreciate that you even gave it a look. Christianchat is lucky to have people like you looking out for their best interest. We can't have any wolves coming in the back door. Leave him a comment if you think his messages are off track, maybe it will give him the door to walk through that he has been waiting for.

Point taken, I think he just has to be very careful though about not mixing
faith in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, with other Eastern
mysticism. When he refers to the third eye and the pineal gland, our antenna etc, its very
much based on Hinduism and Buddha. Look up third eye on the internet and you will
see what I mean. Maybe your friend needs to focus on the health aspect alone until
he is sure about certain elements of his Christian faith.

I would use terms such as God the Holy Spirit communicating with our born again spirit etc,
We are body, soul and spirit.

There is an extract from the second link you posted below and you will hopefully see
what I mean. I'm also not certain what he means about communicating with other
entities other then the Almighty. Or the idea about other realms. Again this sounds like
Hinduism which sees God in everything and why cows are considered sacred!

I know that mindfulness is very much becoming fashionable but this is based on Hinduism as well.
It sounds like your friend might have been exploring the ideas behind mindfulness and getting
a bit mixed up.

Incidentally there is nothing wrong with being a born again Christian and being
a fitness and health instructor. It's just that if a person is going to mix the two and promote
the two, then they have to be clear about what they believe even if it means losing
part of their audience. :) Otherwise it will be a big turn off to Christians who think
he isn't really a Christian, and it will also be a big turn off to non Christians who are not
interested in "religious" ideas at all. So he will end up with no audience at all.

I dont really want to be posting on a strange website about the authors ideas etc.
I have other ways and means of keeping fit. But maybe you could ask him about all
of the above, or show him this post.

Most people don’t realize that our bodies are electric and are capable of broadcasting and
receiving signals. It is my theory that the pineal gland, the third eye, is the antenna of the body.
It sits in the center of our brains. I will do a post specifically on the pineal gland because it is
so interesting, but for now just know that it holds certain properties and has history that backs
the idea that it is the antenna. Our emotions and thoughts are like the tuner on a radio.

This helps us dial in the frequency of what is being transmitted. Love, gratitude, peace and
faith in Yeshua (Jesus), tune us into the Creator. This is like the password that connects you
to the internet. This is basically prayer explained. God created us with communication devices
into the other realm. Does this also mean that we can communicate with entities other
than the Almighty? Absolutely!

People have been communicating with the other side of the veil for millennia. Again, too
large a topic to cover now. There will be a post dedicated to it entirely. In another post
on prayer I will also explain the physiological effects of the body during fasting and how
it effects the power of prayer.

I see your point but people like Alester Crowley have reported that they communicate with entities that empower them and teach them. Many performers come right out and claim their success is the result of selling their soul to the devil. The Bible is full of stories about unclean spirits possessing people. It appears that he credits a relationship with God by faith in Jesus. I don't think its blasphemy to believe the Creator equipped us with telecommunication device in our heads. I agree the language may appear foreign. I think there are some good points and the health info is legit. I agree with you though. He is going to have to make some changes if he wants to be successful. I do get it. Man is the duality of both spirit and flesh. To overstate the flesh is superficial and to understate the spirit is fatal. I will pass on your concerns. You have some excellent input.

The presence of the Holy Spirit is felt in the stomach rather than the head. I don't know why,
He just does.

Then it spreads to envelop your body. I've felt the presence of the Holy Spirit in this
very real tangible way, it's like waves. I've also felt the Holy Spirit as heat which rises.
It would be logical to think of God the Holy Spirit in our head, but it doesn't seem to
happen that way. Again I don't know why, maybe it's because the Holy Spirit bypasses
human logic. :)

I found this on the internet, I don't know much about the website but it seemed to give a
reasonable explanation plus it includes some of the relevant the bible verses.

Thanks for the link. I checked it out. I'm not surprised that "belly" was used as an illustration. People thought that it was what you ate that made you "clean" or holy. Christ even expanded on this metaphor when He said to eat His body and drink his blood. Also, I spent some time researching the pineal gland (aka the third eye) and what I have found is nothing less than fascinating. Just because other faiths might be wrong about how to reach our Heavenly Father doesn't mean that they are completely wrong about everything. If people are actually in contact with unseen entities does that mean we should ignore it or look into it? What if the pineal gland is remarkably more than we give it credit for? What if it is a transmitter of sorts that directly effects our entire being just like everything else in the brain does? We are truly fantastic creations. What if God did equip us with a component that He could enact His will through effecting this vessel? More so what if demons were able to access this component, explaining demon possession? Could a diet that effects our pineal gland be responsible for why we don't see as many miracles today? Personally I think these are all questions that should be answered. I'm not saying that everybody should go light a stick of dynamite in their hand to see what the effect is, but you can at least see somebody who has and learn that way. If our pineal gland is more than meets the eye, I think Christians should learn, not explore the possibilities. If that makes somebody viewed to be not Christian then I shall appeal to a higher Judge. Be blessed Miri, I do appreciate your wisdom.

Personally I think our spirit has much to do with our entire body. Our heat comes from cellular respiration. I believe our spirit is an energy that vibrates at a certain frequency. This frequency can be altered by our thoughts, emotions and condition of our body. Through a faith in Christ, love and lack of guilt this frequency resonates with the Holy Spirit and creates a new tone. This combined frequency effects the rest of our being. This is what makes us a new creation, greater than John the Baptist since he died before the coming of the Holy Spirit. This frequency is the signal that identifies us as children of God. Energy like music blends to make one sound. I think this multiplication of frequencies may be why it is said, "Where two or more are gathered in my Name, I will be there among you." I know this isn't exactly how everything is but I do know that the more I learn about energy, vibration, frequency and how it all effects the growth and manipulation of DNA and molecules, the more respect I have for the Master and thankful I am that He cares about insignificant me.

Well there you go. Would you believe I was going to write essentially the same thing you just did? You beat me to it.
I will add that it is probably no coincidence that most disease starts in the stomach.

Not sure if i'm right, but as an 'older' member, i think younger members also tend to check out different health sites than the oldies. The young seem to check more of skin care and looks, strength, specifics like allergies/ashtma when they have these, also digestive and respiratory stuff, while the older are concerned w/ memory and brain function, incontinence, balance, eye care, yeast infections, although wrinkles and diets too, etc. I am replying to the title of the thread, not exactly Op's site posted. Here's an age well doctor who is also interested in gut and brain health. Dr crawford has a store, so we cant help thinking she wants to sell us something, but i am posting her brain basics link wc is rather long, bec. some of her recommendations for older folks seem really helpful for others too.

I was personally diagnosed w/ some lead and (was it) arsenic (see?! the memory skips) and advised to use glass instead of plastic to drink, etc etc. I sincerely hope the teens and young adults who do not have health issues now are not arrogant enough to think they cannot and will not be affected by flouride, msg.. all around us in time to come. A blessed and healthy new year to all.

The Many Ubiquitous and Harmful Neurotoxins

An example of some foreign substances that can cause negative effects on your body and your brain include mercury, lead, cadmium, arsenic, pesticides, insecticides, dioxins, furans, phthalates, VOCs, and PCBs.
Of all of the toxins that can be listed, mercury has shown to be the worse as it can kill brain cells, and cause a variety of illnesses such as heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer’s, autism, and much more.
There are a variety of other toxins but I don’t want to make your eyes cross! Here is a list of neurotoxins you need to know : Fluoride, chlorpyrifos, DDT/DDE, manganese, arsenic, lead, mercury, ethanol, toluene, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), tetrachloro-ethylene (PERC), and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs.)
To get an example of where these can be hidden: Toluene is used to not only improve ratings in octane, but also used to make nylon and plastic soda bottles, manganese is found in soda cans as well and stainless steel to keep metal from corroding, and mercury was once used in various products but it has ended up in fish. It may also be in your dental amalgams-unbelievably enough it is not banned.

The other site mentioned is geared for middle age, eating right, hormone balance and life balance. I'm going to have to check this one out too though. Thanks! I agree that we need to be mindful of our health at any age.

It brings a whole new concept to the following verses.
Some versions translate it belly (KJV), other versions translate it as
stomache, heart or from within, within inner most being.

John 7:37-39 NKJV
[37] On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out,
saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. [38] He who believes
in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living
water." [39] But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing
in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was
not yet glorified.
