Okay, well my name is Amy. I'm 19 years old and have been a Christian since I was eight years old. However, I got a little confused and walked away from God for awhile because of a controlling boyfriend I dated for 2 years. When I finally broke up with him for the last time God came in and started the healing process in my heart. I was so caught up in looking at only the good things in my boyfriend that I wouldn't admit that the bad things he did would end our relationship in flames. He was also my first boyfriend so I didn't know that there were better guys out there that are TRULY Christians and can treat me the way I deserve to be treated. I recently read a book called Captivating. It's helped me realize what God has created me for and what my role is as a woman of God.
