"When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them." - Acts 2:1-4

Questions: -
1) Do you think when one falls when hands are laid upon them it is real or not?

2) Do you think when one has fallen it is a sign of deliverance?

3) What do you think of speaking in tongues?

if you are asking questions about your deliverance experience there is a very probable chance that you were not delivered at all. there is a very frightening movement within the churches as false ministers are assisting satan to cause unwitting christians to receive unclean spirits in and around their lives under this disguise. i highly recommend that you check to find out whether this is true in your case or not. go to you tube videos and check on pastors such as benny hinn and kenneth copeland and see how they are praising satan while claiming to speak in tongues. these pastors frequently hold up their hands using the hand sign for satan. if this is the case in your case. ask God for His forgiveness and do not return to that church. i will pray for your true deliverance and hope that i am wrong. your resistance has been to the devil and his tricks i'm thinking.

please go to you tube and type in exposed talking to satan ......watch the whole video it exposes benny hinn, kenneth copeland and others. the beginning is only hand signs which could be taken either way but when you hear them actually speak to satan .......

Speaking in tongues is speaking to God, not the enemy. Don't believe that guy.

As far as your experience. If you felt peace and still do, look at the fruit of it. He is the King of Peace and His Kingdom is this...

Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

I have experienced things like you, I have been "slain in the Spirit" and fell to the ground before I even knew someone was behind me to catch me, another time I fell back and so did my entire row. The fruit of this? I felt love like I hadn't before, peace like I hadn't, fear and night terrors that kept me awake no longer attacked me as much... I also started to hear from God more clearly.

People want to put God in a box, but He is radical. Pentecost wasn't a collection of people playing harp music and speaking in order. Lol. It was a radical display of God speaking through people, including the miracle of everyone hearing their own language.

Don't be afraid, look for love, and you will find God. He is love. Also be careful of people who while well intentioned can be stuck in traditions like the Pharisees when they accused Jesus of casting out demons by the power of the enemy.

We are called to be in unity, not slander, not create division, and to love one another. That's how you know is a Christian according to Jesus. And we are called to share the Kingdom of God. :) You experienced it. Now, go share it.

Matt 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Hi, I am VERY seasoned. ( see age ). Began learning about the fullness of the
Holy Spirit in early 70's. ( yr. not age ) . Slain in spirit ? Awesome as described.
Peace, love and beauty. I have dreamed of being slain in the spirit, literally.
Such peace, wish it could be every night, but it isn't.
Brief testimony. Went to a Full Gospel Church that was not mine, and I thought I was better than the people there. UGH, right ? I had to take my
little girl at that time, up to be prayed for ear infection. Dr. said she would
be needing tube in ear. I am standing by my daughter, the Pastor, whom
I had never met before, nor stepped in his church, anointed my daughter
for healing and I went out in spirit. No hands on me. Does God have a
sense of humor ? I think He does. And I learned I am not better than anyone.
I am a sister in Christ ~ Being slain or speaking in tongues is a gift and God
is so loving, forgiving and eternally our Father.
