How can we get immune from flatter words?
This will come off through Creator’s wisdom. When we take in Creator’s character and will, the real intention of the people come out easier. We can see through their appearance, words, etc. Although fascination in virtue of the supposed beauty of the person can come over us, if we don’t put behind us His teachings, but keep them in mind, even if something outside of Christ seems nice and good, we won’t give in to their charm.
Even if we are going through some temptation, we can come through it if we keep looking to Jesus (see John 3.14,15; Hebrews 12.1,2), inasmuch as:
So, let’s come under Holy Scripture’s authority, come up to Jesus, hear His voice and have a splendid weekend.
