How do I tag a username?

Hi everyone who gets to read this! I got a question. Can we tag a username in our comments/posts? If yes, how? I havent tried it but does it work like including "@" before the username? I was planning to write a comment and thought of tagging some members (who arent my friends yet, btw) and I would like them to know that I actually tagged them. How would that work? Thank you in advance! :)
 
You can use the reply with quote option or the multi quote option to the right of the "reply with quote button"...then tag the posters posts on that specific thread to reply to all of them.......once you click on a person to be tagged for quoting a checkmark appears by their post.......hope this helps...

but this won't notify the user you quoted.
What she refers to is a function in some forums where you get a notification if someone writes
i.e @Ultimatum77 some message for you

If your post isn't boring, but is of interest... they will eventually find it.

In the meantime, you can PM each one you want to *tag*, and tell them you left a post, telling them where it is.
