1 John 5: 1-5 (NIV) Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. 3 In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

When we love the father we love son. When we love the son we love the father. The father sent his son into the world to save it.

By not becoming conformed into the image of this world

By not being overcome by our lustful desires., pride., anger., etc

Being meek humble and a servant of all., forgiving even our enemies and loving one another

But most of all through Faith in Jesus Christ with thanksgiving in our hearts for his tender love and mercies that he lead us into all truth and deliver us from all evils of this world.., Loving God above all things and placing him first in our lives

Romans 6:16
(16) Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

We overcome by surrender. We surrender to Him daily, moment by moment to allow Him to work in us.
Philippians 1:6
(6) Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform (finish) it until the day of Jesus Christ:

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death (Revelation 12:11)
