What does everyone do for a livin'?

I flip a sign on the side of a busy intersection for million dollar homes. It's an incredibly fulfilling job, I think I am going to do it for the rest of my life.

"This guy has a good day at work if he manages to make it home - with or without the bacon..."

:)

No, he needs a taller stool somewhere else.... and a post hole digger to put that thing in the ground with!

I refurbish seat belts.
Really.
It's duller than you might think, and more interesting than you might think. Yes. Both of those. At once.

It's half the money I made as an accountant or a collections agent, but in a sour economy the second was no bueno - even though I was good at it. The first was fun, but that position was eliminated, and who wants a dyslexic accountant who doesn't have an accounting degree or CPA.

I work for Christians who let it influence their business, though.
Also I adore working with my hands and head both. This job allows for that some. I get to fix things that were never intended to to be taken apart, much less fixed. The engineers from our sister company come and consult with me on things they aren't sure of. I get paid to remove the do not removes that can actually hurt you (unlike those infamous mattress tags).

Alright I have to ask, what ARE those for in the first place? How would they cause harm? I have always wondered and instead of googling I can get it from someone personally. So tell all!!!
