How far are you yearning for having communion with the Holy Spirit?

• Amo 5:8-10 -> “Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name: that strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress. They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.”.

Many people ask for the visit of the Holy Spirit. Nonetheless, what do you think the Holy Spirit will do at first?

• Joh 16:8 > “And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:”.

So, if you are like Israel’s people (hate those who rebuke you), don’t seek the Holy Spirit! He spoils the strong so that any fortress of the evil in their life fall on the ground. He berates people so that they can get apart from the evil and yield the peaceable fruit of righteousness after being exercised thereby (Heb 12:11).

I know that is terrible to be scathed. Nonetheless, instead of hating these people, we need to be grateful for the opportunity that the Holy Spirit is giving us to perceive our error, repent, convert and be a blessing.

Furthermore:

• Pro 17:13 -> “Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.”.

Although the intention of the person can be to mistreat us, the intent of the Creator is to save us from ourselves through the turpitude of the person. Hence the Creator says:

• Mat 5:44 -> “But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, ”.

So, have a good day rewarding good things, even for those who hate you. After all, all their evilness toward you aims to able you to eat of the banquet that the Creator specially prepared for you in their presence (Ps 23:5).
