How is everyone doing in light of the Pandemic?

Im always doing well. I haven't really spent any time watching the news or participating in or magnifying all that is going on though.
To be honest i stopped watching the news, participating, and taking the media seriously a long time ago once i started to see how they have been fabricating things for a hot minute.

But now he is self isolated in His hotel room because he got the virus during the flight to Panama.. Could have got it in the plane or at Los Angeles stopover or Atlanta stopover or on the flight then to Panama City.. Another problem is just after He arrived Panama closed it's borders so the 4th member of the crew could no longer fly to Panama..

They think they can do the trip with Just 3 crew but they now have to wait 2 weeks after my brother is declared cured.. If God is willing that is..

it's been almost a month since you posted about your brother. How is he doing?
You and he have been in my prayers.

We are both retired and we do have pensions, so not too worried about money. But, we have lost so much in our conservative investments. The economy is going to be a huge issue in Canada, with Trudeau vying to make us a country run by China and the UN.

My biggest worry is the virus. I have a very compromised immune system from my RA meds, which are chemo drugs. I also have heart disease and very damaged and scarred lungs. I've been home almost 5 weeks, and I'm tired of it. My church has been having Zoom services which has been good contact with people. Being an extrovert in isolation sucks!

Going to start planting my garden within the week, then I don't have to worry about convincing my hubby to go to the store to pick up produce. Things are missing here and there in our grocery stores, but there are spotty things missing. Also. Where we are, there are very few new cases. We just need to keep people out. Almost everything is closed.

Hello godsgirl83.. My brother made it home to Australia.. and spent 2 weeks at his house in isolation.. He has been to the doctors to get a scan for his heart and his lungs which where damaged by the virus.. It seems His lungs where not absorbing enough oxygen and that caused his heart to increase it's beats per minute in an attempt to push more blood through his lungs to absorb enough oxygen.. But it seems his lungs are slowly repairing because he can now go for walks and his heart rate is starting to drop..

The doctor sent him for a cat scan and tests to see if the virus has done any permanent damage to his heart.. We will find out tomorrow what the results where..

Thanks to you and to everyone who has prayed for my bother.. :)

I like being in my bubble but Im getting a bit stressed by so called friends who keep trying to invade my space. At first I think they are just being friendly, but now am not so sure. Maybe they just being clingy.

eg they will call and it will be for no reason except to be nosy about everything thats going on in my life, without saying much about theirs. I decide to log out of facebook cos I just need some privacy, but then get called on by a clingy friend alarmed that I am supposedly not keeping in touch with her and she just seems to wants to know every single thing I am doing.

sorry just feeling touchy at moment. I have just had the most inane conversation with someone.
the person called and said how are you? I said fine how are you? and she said Im good how are you?

I had to point out she already asked me how I am the first time.
what are you doing? uh...staying at home. what are YOU doing?
