I used to work in an American Eagle when I was in college, and a lot of the customers would pick clothing up and then toss it to the side so I did a lot of folding clothes while I had that job.
I can't fold a shirt like that however, but seeing this thread just brought back a memory, so I am grateful too you :)

It just means "for the win!" I think it originated with the popular mixed martial arts (MMA) craze. I think when someone scored a winning point in a tournament/bout the announcer would say "(fighter's name), for the win!!"

It did have a darker meaning back in the 80's when rock stars got it tattoed on their arm. Back then it was an expletive towards the world in general, but hardly anyone remembers this.

Yes, but it takes about twenty-five seconds to get that shirt to lay flat on the table to begin with.
