Seriously and do you treat girls the same as boys - smack them? This wasn't even done back when they had corporal punishement in schools with girls, at most they had to write lines or be in detention.

Has anybody not seen 'The Breakfast Club' movie.

How many times do you have to beat/hit them? six times or more...when do you stop. when they start crying or screaming?
Till they bleed?
Bones broken?
Your rod snaps?

Are you a school nurse? What do you do with the children that get beaten up - by each other or the teachers?

They come to you with bleeding, broken bones and black eyes.

No, I'm not a school nurse, but if I was, I'd patch the kids up, give them a lollipop, and send them back to class. If it was a reportable situation, I'd report it.

Sometimes they just need a lie down, or a quiet space - they have sick bays at school with a bed. And tissues.
Girls have different needs to boys of course.

I was always calming down girls who would have catfights and emotional meltdowns. Girls can be the worst bullies.

Boys could never tie their shoelaces. The girls seemed better at it, or they had shoes with buckles.

Of course the girls often had ribbons in their hair and knew how to braid their hair/put in a pony tail. Some girls had such beautiful hair which I'm sure their mothers helped braid, my mum never bothered with mine. I had a bob/bowl cut with a fringe. lol

I'm sure the teachers must have thought I was a neglected urchin, esp when I had holes in my pants at the knees and shoes that also had holes in them.

I walked to school because if I ran (and I was carrying bags) I would have probably crashed into all the other kids walking to the other school the other way.

There are about 10 schools in walking distance from me.

Plus you'd never ever accept a ride from anyone that you didn't know. We learned all about stranger danger.
