"How will these things be?" Sometimes you ask yourself this question. God has made these promises; I do not believe that He cannot perform them. The only thing that keeps me wondering sometimes is how they would come to be. Well, you're not alone. Many of us do, too, but the question here is, do we really need to know how?
Let's go down memory lane. How many times has God proved Himself faithful to us? Times without number, of course! Why, then, do we still wonder and begin to doubt whenever we are faced with a challenge? It's not because God can't, but because our faith is weak. The problem absolutely lies with us.
How can we doubt the love and mercies of our God? The One that has come through for us over and over again? The One that has shown up for us in mind-blowing ways, how can we?
I'm here to tell you today that these things can be because we serve a God who is not constrained by time or resources, a God who specializes in impossibilities, a God whose love for us is immeasurable, a God who wants to bless us more than we even want Him to, a God who wants to fill our hearts with testimonies and our mouths with laughter.
What are your prayer requests? December is the end of the year, not the end of life. Write them down, make them plain, and expect with all your heart answers to them, even beyond your requests and imaginations. Begin to pray again, begin to believe God's promises again, and begin to trust in His word. Your testimony is not just near, but is here.
Congratulations in advance, and compliments of the season!
