To all my brothers and sisters in Christ I have been corrected and chastened by my Father (God). I believe I have fallen into the trap of pride. I know God resists the proud,but gives grace unto the humble. I am not embarrassed in saying this before you all. This is how God has taught me through the years by correction and discipline. We know if we are without correction or chastisement we are illegitimate and not truly His. If I endure this then God is dealing with me as with a son. Anyway I see the very thing I told others not to do which is throwing scriptures at one another I have fallen prey to myself. I humbly apologize unto all. I am devoting deep study into humility at this point because I belive I need to so I am leaving this Christianchat for good as I persue this study. God bless all and I hope others will learn from my mistakes and not fall into the same trap. LeoLion
 
I don´t know why, my friend, you think that happened. But it´s good to check our footprints to see we use to walk that way (that´s one of the reasons I´ve have liked the series of Kung Fu).

Sometimes I have liked to leave life. When I see that ill-manered pride you´ve mentioned, in me or in others, I have liked to move a finger to get rid of those things I don´t want in me or in other people, but God is good: He spared my life same way He´s sparing others.

Go your way, bro!
 
One more thing: You could do that study being spiritually retired, but helping others who probably need you online.
 
Alright, lucky you if you were chastened by the Lord because that means you not a Bastard.
You have been chastened because you are known by your Father.
To have been chastened means you has been proven to be genuine, original & not fake, counterfeit child of the Most High.

"And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as children, My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of Him:
For whom the Lord loveth, he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth"
If you endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?(Heb.11:5-6)
 
What helps me when I begin to feel I'm using scripture to prove things to others a little too much is to go to the prayer request page for awhile and just pray for people. You can't be throwing scripture around while you are praying for them - and they really need you.

It will teach you to only think of others. Work out your 'humbleness' while praying for others. Stay with us and I hope to see you on the prayer request site. ?
