'As it is written' according to words of 'spirit' and 'life' of JESUS for us in the New Covenant/Testament, we are 'called' to 'practice' and 'abide' and 'bear much fruit', that;

"FATHER forgive them, for they knew not what they do."

"Grace has been shown onto you, therefore show Grace to others."

Who is the 'true' criminal, the one who have found and know and tasted Grace and Truth until today, in order to 'preach' the Gospel to the 'lost', or the one who are still 'ignorant' and 'lost'?

No declaration by any court of man can change Gods word. If the bible which is Gods word can not be alter then, marriage still remain any institution between a Man and Woman. Gen 2:24
 
Yes it is true and you are right and man have taken 'opportunity' from GOD's Word/Teaching of taking for themselves many wives by unjustly divorcing the present one and marrying another, on this account of marriage institution, even to the Israelite, under the 'Law and the Prophets' and of man's love

Even not surprising today, man's love have taken 'heights', even influence Christian man alike, claiming and declaring as better than GOD, even instituting 'homosexual' marriages.

Romans chapter 1 and 2 speaks about the 'outsiders' and their 'outcome' of their 'ignorance' and 'sin' not 'believing' in CHRIST.

Matthew chapter 7 speaks about girted Christians and their 'outcome' of 'lawlessness'.

In the Gospel JESUS spoke about the same 'institution between a man and a woman'. And HE corrected the added 'law' forcing Moses to write them, to the advantage of men, allowing them to marry many wives and by putting away the present one by unjustly issuing a divorce paper of 'dissatisfaction'. JESUS called these husbands as 'wicked men'. Apparently JESUS taught therefore GOD's 'AGAPE' requirements in such 'institution' between a man and woman, married and unmarried according to GOD's New Covenant/Testament. HE gave us all the 'full meaning' of GOD's Word/teaching and their requirements.

We must also remember our 'spiritual marriage' with CHRIST, as HE is the 'bridegroom' and we are the 'bride'.
