Hi!

I'm a 40yr old woman, and at the age of 3yrs. old I was in a comma for 3 and 1/2 days, at one point in this comma I had to be between the line of life, and death. Only because I remember being in a desert with Jesus, and he had his arms, and hands opened wide to me. During this time he was looking down at me, and he was smiling, it was a reassuring smile, and the look in his eyes. Were so beautiful, I felt so safe, and at peace. When I know it wasn't a dream, it was real. I can still see the exact expression he had on his face to this day, and the same feelings that I felt. At that point in time, after I came out of the comma the doctors found a spot on the right side of my head. Which has caused me to become epileptic, and have been still to this day. A couple of yrs. ago one of my doctors gave me a new medication, which caused me to hallucinate. I was also out of my mind the majority of the time not knowing half the things I did, or didn't do. Half of the time I felt like part of body was in the grave. So I finally told my family that I wanted them to just go ahead, and stick me in a meat grinder. Keep in mind, I wasn't myself, so when I told them this they couldn't believe it. I could see the shock, and sorrow in their eyes. I was tired, I would tell my family that I wasn't here, anymore, I could see myself, as if my arms was going through objects. Like the bed posts, among others, and if I could see it why couldn't they? I know that answer now though. Anyways I guess it was that night that I told my family I was tired, and to me I felt have dead, anyways to just to what I asked. Well I can only guess that night, I saw Jesus for the second time in my life! I even got to talk to him. I told him how I was feeling, and he said he knew, he felt the pain too. He said it was going to be ok though, that it's not my time to go home. He had plans for me. I didn't understand what he meant, so here's my question. I have a cousin, his name is David, and he has a lot of issues. He was in did time, because he shot at a mailbox, when he came out I can imagine it was very hard for him. I know a couple of yrs. ago he started to change his life for the better, he was going to church, and attending bible studies. This had to be at the time I was sick, because my family said he would go over to our house, and check up on me, as well as pray for me. I heard he even would cry because he couldn't stand to see what I was going through. For some reason his family started to put him down, all the time, his wife, as well as his own brother, and sisters. Even his own mom, they belittle him, all the time putting him down. Anyways I heard he's taking pain pills, that he's addicted. I don't know the reason for it, but I have an idea it's to try to help him block out the emotional pain that his family is always causing him. We are a close family so we get together every now, and then, and I always notice that when he's there, he always stays to himself. It's like he's in a glass room looking out, but never being able to get in. I've seen that look many times before, and that was in me when I would look in the mirror. This would happen to me when certain meds. I would take would cause me not to feel like me. I told my mom, his sister, and mother that I would like to talk to him, let him know I understand what it feels like. Over the yrs. I've had to come off of medications on my own, because the doctors were just using me as a genie pig. So I've gotten hooked on quite a few of them. I've even almost overdosed on 3 of them, because I was so hooked. Except I was determined I didn't like the experiences I went through because of them. My mom, David's sister, and mom said it wasn't a good idea, that our situations aren't the same. I disagree, I feel like maybe this is one of the plans Jesus was talking about. So my heart tells me to talk to him, but my mind tells me not too. What should I do? I hope I can get some advice, sorry I know it's a long post, but I give thanks to God for giving me, and all that he has done for me, and still does for me. God! Bless! Take care!

''He was in did time, because he shot at a mailbox, when he came out I can imagine it was very hard for him.''

can you clarify? I dont understand your cousin's condition.

I also just want to say that you are a strong woman, and I admire your strength through all of life's events. Thanks be to God for getting you through hard times. Blessings be with you. Thanks for the wonderful story.

What reason could you possibly have not to talk to him? More importantly, what did Jesus tell you to do the times you met with Him? I'm certain there is a life-plan for you in there somewhere, that would cover this decision.

Our instinct to do something good for me is something I always go on, I have doubted myself at times in the past, and though hey.....is this me wanting to get the glory or the Lord, when I am sure I move forward to do what I think is best.

I think you need to do what your heart say's, I am not sure why you head would be in a different place, is it because you are concerned about what the family will think?

Giving someone our support is never a bad thing, sometimes just telling someone where you have been and what you have had to deal with allows them to open up about what they are going through because we are all so scared of being judged when we know that someone really has been there and does understand by their sharing it makes us feel safe enough to say what is really troubeling us.

I hope it all works out for you.

It could never be wrong to speak to someone honestly about what they are going through. In fact, the opposite is true. If you do not talk to him, you have lost a God-given chance to speak the truth in love.

I am sorry you have been through so much pain and suffering, and for your cousin. Praying you have that talk, and your cousin gets the help he needs.

I can't imagine someone going to jail for shooting a mailbox. Is the US Postal System that strong? One of my sons with his friends knocked down a bunch of mail boxes when they were teens. They were arrested, given pardons on the condition they fix the mail boxes and write letters of apologies to the people. That's it!

I wonder what your cousin endured in prison, for such a paltry crime? Very sad, indeed!

Thanks so much for sharing with us, and I do believe God allows us to go through situations so we can help others down the line.....There is nothing too difficult for God. So sorry you had to experience so much pain, what a blessing to have met Jesus and have felt His Peace while in a comma! I too believe its an opportunity for you to share with another that you truly understand what they are experiencing, it may help them to open up. I would follow my heart in a situation like that, it cannot hurt to share with him. What can you lose by opening up to him? God bless you and please keep me updated on this situation if and when you do share with him. This will surely turn into a testimony for God's Glory!

I saw the eyes of Jesus in a vision once. The eyes of Jesus are very striking and they are the most beautiful eyes you will ever look into. I felt peace and love as I looked into them. His eyes were a brilliant blue and He was also smiling with a slight Mona Lisa smile.
