I cant win in life. Is God always this silent? He never talks to me. I've tried to get close to God really....but I cant no matter how hard I try. ive prayed about what I should do with my life...nothing. ive prayed about finding someone to spend my life with....nothing. I cant keep going like this..i don't want to doubt but how can I believe if God wont even answer me! I feel alone most of the time....I feel depressed most of the time. then I fall into sin like drinking or sex and then feel even worse about myself and about my life....I want to get better but I don't know how....

I can relate to the feeling of , well, nothingness.

I'm not sure I have a good answer, as I know that when it feels like God is distant, it rarely helps to have people say "but He does love you!".

I've become so numb, I can't feel you there. Become so tired, so much more aware

I don't know why God is sometimes silent, and why He won't give us a a direct answer when we ask Him, what I do know is that fighting that kind of feeling alone can tear you apart. Do you have someone in Church you can talk to as well as us? Sometimes it helps a bit to just rant to someone who's there with you, and who won't try to "fix" things, but just let you know you're not alone.

I moved to a country where the first language is not English so I don't have a church home right now

Ah. Maybe try and see if there are organisations there that help people get in contact with their local community?

It probably varies both with countries cultures and each churches' , but I was very well welcomed when I moved and visited a new Church. A Good congregation will always take well care of new members :)
