Prayers for me would be greatly appreciated. So many things going on in my life that I am trying to control. I'm having a difficult time "letting go and letting God" handle each & every situation. I recently had extensive oral surgery (3 days ago) and I'm so worried, stressed and anxious about the healing process. I have had a melt down the past 3 nights. The only thing that brings me back on my feet is after I've dropped to my knees in prayer. I can't stay on my knees all day. I need to let go and let God take care of me. Prayers for strength, patience, trust, and healing would be greatly apprecated. I also have a situation at work that has been so very stressful. I have a co-worker who is a self proclaimed Christian but her actions speak louder than her words. She is very rude, disrespectful, manipulative, and is able to tell a lie so convincing you second guess yourself even when you know for a fact that what she is saying is absolutely not true. Upper management is "under her spell". Her behavior affects me on a daily basis, which frustrates me, and makes my job more difficult then it needs to be (it's already a very busy, demanding position) I go in every day with a new attitude, it's a new day, yesterday was yesterday, never hold any grudges but for sure by the middle of the day, if not sooner, I have allowed her horrible attitude and nasty comments, and her rude and disrespectful tone of voice get to me once again. I pray daily for God to give me the strength to not allow that to happen. I need your prayers too with this, please. It's affecting me every day. Thank you so much for listening & thank you inadvance for the prayers I'm about to receive.

I know exactly how you feel because I am going through this myself and it stinks. I have oral surgery on Tuesday lol and I'm not worried at all because I know that I rest in the hands of the Lord. Just realize that you are trying to control everything around you and sista its just not going to happen. You are going to spin yourself into a tizzy. You really just have to bow your head and keep laying it at Jesus feet every single day and probably many times. It keeps us depending on the Lord. Pray and ask the Lord to remove this person from your work life while praying that they actually get saved also. The best of luck figuring out how to completely let go :D still fighting that one myself.

Hugs Trisha, you , your health , and this coworker are in my prayers in Jesus's name.
One thing that can help when dealing with a coworker or simply any difficult person...
is to do as scripture says, ( do all things as unto the Lord.)
For when one does this, wether at work, or in how they treat another, when doing all instead unto the Lord.
The offence is no longer set upon you, but upon and carried by Jesus.
And He already overcame it all. :)
I hope this will help in some small way.

God bless

May you be strengthened and filled with relief in the name of Yahshua the Messiah may Yahvah God brings this to pass for you my friend.

You are dealing with this well, you witness yourself how you forgive this lady each day and it brings to mind this for your Spirit:

Matthew 18

21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.

24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.

29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.

31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:

33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?

34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Trisha, I'm so sorry to hear of all these difficulties! :(

I once worked with a nurse who was, er, hard to love? ;)
The doc who employed us both seemed unaware, and so things stood as they were.
Like you, I did a daily laying down of self for her sake.
Little by little the Lord allowed me to see just how miserable and unhappy she was.
And that gave me mercy for her, and when I saw just how blessed I was by comparison,
it became easy to (actively) love her.

I hope it brings consolation to hear that many years later I ran into someone who knows her,
and was told how much she had changed.
Never doubt that the Lord has His hand on His own. ♥
And He makes us all beautiful, and makes us all 'look' like Jesus. :)

I am praying for your health, beloved of your Father. ♥
And for His love and mercy and grace for this coworker
to fill your dear heart.

love,
ellie

I feel for you...I once worked with a Christian woman who behaved poorly.
I prayed each day before I went to work. Before she left the company she told me I was her favorite person to work with.
Those were some of the same words that I prayed very day before work.
Remember;

Isaiah 54:17
no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me," declares the LORD.

Her flesh might see something in you that out shines her.
Remember where our fight is!

Epheians 6:12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

You have my prayers too :)
Love & blessings , Shekaniah

I can relate to your post. Once at church a man told me he knew I am Jewish, o nevrt say. I am female jew" jewis to him " he told me that to Christians Jews are a way to pass time before heaven comes. I was so hurt, & torn.this weigh heavily on me each time we meet.yet as beckah's post say, I lay this problem at Jesus feet. I pray often for me & him.in about two months later he say he hear & see God in me. & also learn Jews are not so awful peoples. He see now God created. All people in his image & that all God create he also want with him in heaven eturnaly. Pray for your Co- worker, sounds like more her problem than yours but salvation can also come to her.I didn't mean to forget your health, I will be praying for all.

LORD GIVE HER A NEW BATH OF HOPE IN HER SPIRIT. FOR PRAYER IS THE KEY TO HEAVEN, AND FAITH UNLOCKS THE DOOR. JESUS WASH AWAY THE DOUBTS AND DISCOURAGEMENT. OPEN DOORS FOR HER IN JESUS NAME. AMEN

I know that feeling too. It is so hard for me let go of something for God to take care of something. I get scared it will not turn out the way I hope it will:/ But I want to be stronger in my faith and closer with God
