Hello, I want to put on (this Winter) a show which will have to be in a church.
It's not a musical or concert but a music & arts type program; music performances (gospel & classical/new age type i.e. Yanni, John Tesh, a beautiful song a dance to is "Hosanna" by Israel H.) with only one set group singing, acting (monologues/spoken word) violin playing, piano, dance (praise & ballet).
Ok if that doesn't sound too out there or even confusing enough, there's this idea I have where I want to follow a storyline though. Reason is I think it could give tge night a little more structure so that things would flow nicely & back-to-back with no interruptions or breaches throwibg everyone off course (if you will.) So every poem every song each dance performance contributes to the storyline somehow someway; it's not a play but I would love to give this character stage play feel but worship filled.
Wow hopes this makes sense which is why I'm on here seeking advice and otger's opinions/critique. Thanks.
