This is something I wrote in 2010, when I was going through a rough time. I hope it encourages you 
If God is for us, who can be against us?
He gives you blessings, more than you could've imagined.
And yet, other things seem to come out of nowhere.
They discourage you.
They make you ache.
They make it hard to focus on the blessings.
But it's nothing new.
Satan always has old tricks up his sleeve.
You've faced this before.
You've overcome it before.
God knows that.
He knows how strong you can be.
He knows you can overcome it again.
He shows you how to prove the devil's lies FALSE.
Satan tries to distract you.
Is it any wonder that he attacks you, when you're on fire for God?
Is it any wonder that he tries so hard to wet that fire?
As you grow stronger, the oppression grows as well.
But as you learn to shout His word at the devil,
as you learn to laugh at his futile attempts,
as you harness His love and comfort inside you-
no matter what happens,
you learn to experience an unbelievable peace.
a peace that no attack can shake.
and all the while you're learning,
God laughs at Satan, and tells him-
"Did you really think you could break my child?
There is none like her heart.
You can try all you want.
But as long as I am with her,
you have no hold over her life."
