I'm curious, where do you guys/girls go to meet girls?

Okay, so I'm in a position right now where no matter where I go It's hard for me meet girls. In school, there's no girls. I have a problem making friends in chruch. Does anyone know of any other good places to go to meet girls and make friends with them?
 
it is God's job to bring your partner to you
you can practice befriending girls
any clubs at school?
 
I know, but God isn't gonna make a girl magically appear on my lap. Though that would pretty hot. :p
I'm trying too...
The Christian club only has 2 maybe 3 people in the club, and I'm not interasted in the girls in the club...

No you are right God is not going to magically make a girl appear on your lap.

Do you know what magic means.


Mageia means witchcraft in greek that is were they get the term magic. So God cannot use witchcraft to bring a girl to you. God works through miricles but not witchcraft.

I sense that through all the posts that you have created that you are very desperate for a women.

I know I used to struggle with immorality and I thought that the only why that I could be pure is if I had a girlfriend, it is still a constant battle, but through Christ I have gained a lot of ground. I see a lot of men who have struggles and have been overtaken by immorality and these men have remained single. I think you would be supprised if you ask God to help you overcome all forms of immorality, how fast you will look at women differntly and therefore be more comfortable around them giving off a sense of Godlyness and confidence, which may help attract a Godly women.
 
Hey Doth im new to this forum stuff and to be honest still new to the chritian faith and not quite sure what stage im at at the moment, but just wanted to say to you atend social clubs/ activities you like and go to places you enjoy, do you have any hobbies that you enjoy? If you keep yourself ocupied and busy eventualy yoll forget about meeting a girl and then before you know it youll have met someone. I think what im saying is make sure your not just puting all your time and effort into meeting a partner as there is so much that life has to offer mate and youve got your entire life ahead to be married, keep yourself busy and ocupied and life will sort itself out :)

That's a good thing. Now you know what you do not want. The more of those you find, the easier it is to spot the one's you may be interested in. Try finding an interest in all those you do meet. You'll learn alot about women in general and well, we are very different. Hope you are not looking for someone just like yourself (except she being also in love with our Savior). The spice of life is variety. So jump in and befriend as many women as God places in your path. And may I ask, what is it about the few girls you are presently meeting that doesn't interest you? Ok, you ask the question in the heading "where do you go to meet a girl?" What are your hobbies or interests? Do you like board games, fishing/hungting/camping? Do you like Christian concerts or a Christian retreats? Depending on your religion, do you dance? Do you take a friend who is a girl or several girls to a movie or have dinner with them? The key is to live your life with joy and while you are doing that some will catch your eye. Don't be afraid to back off if she isn't right. And don't be afraid of rejection. Every failure is a step to success. Have fun and date lots of gals, even if you don't feel a spark immediately. Get experienced in what you do like and do pray that God has already prepared the woman for you. And remember, God promised to give us the desires of our heart, just like Abraham and Sarah were promised a child in their old age, and then they still had to wait another 20 years before they saw the fulfillment of that promise. So, don't do as Abraham and Sarah did, getting impatient and creating Ishmael, the father of the muslims who to this day still war with the Israelites. It really is ok to date. Ask a girl out and make the date somewhere fun and not to serious, like bowling or the zoo or a picnic in the park. If you are having fun it want feel like work, but you do have to work...that is be the aggressor and she be the lady. Run from the women who chase after you...too many emails...too many phone calls that they made...staying too long on the phone with you...getting you to talk about heavy stuff that is really none of their business. Again, just have clean fun and you will reap the rewards. If one of your buddies doesn't like a particular girl he has dated, ask him if you may ask her out. Just have fun and for goodness sake don't be so serious. Have fun!

I have seen this happen

the mother pushes the daughter into what the the mother thinks is a good match

that marriage lasted for years

the girl is now raising 3 kids by cleaning other peoples houses

I've been that guy. It's really weird if you're not interested in the girl, and the mother keeps trying to set you guys up. But, if I was interested in this girl, it would be great. But, alas....I like girls that actually say more than two words in an hour. But Mahogony makes a point. If you have an in with the family before hand, half the battle's already won.

I'm in a similar dilema .hack0, since I'm not able to attend church regularly, and I don't want to go bar hopping. Despite all the stabbings etc. that happen in some of the bars in my town, the women that I would assume would be there, aren't exactly the God fearing, pure and chaste kind. I'm not in school right now either, so really my only social outlet is work. And interpositional relationships are strictly forbiden, and I'm a manager, so...yeah. I'm not the type that would just go up to a girl in the library and hit on her. Even though it's not really creepy, it seems that way to me. Maybe try to advance your social life in general, and see if there are any possible females. It might be easier if they become your friend first.
 
I'm in that situation right now actually.. I don't know whether to call or not...what could you say? maybe "hello.. my name is mahogony snail.. and I know your mother.. your mother thinks i'm a pretty good sort and wants us to meet up...so how about it? "
 
Call before you're too good of friends, and fear the risk of ruining the friendship
 
LOL I dont know if I should encourage this but I met the greatest guy on the planet here on CC. Soooo HAPPY!! Be careful though if your going to do this lol
