I'm trying to understand prayer from a non-christian point of view.

I have a forum called SofaScientist which looks at philosophical/science related topics and one branch of discussion in the spirituality board is prayer. I was wondering if anyone could spend 5mins of their time to read and perhaps anonymously comment about what I've written or your experiences.

I would be happy to read what you would ask of me to look into.

In my opinion, a prayer from a Chrstian has no more weight, from God's point of view, than a prayer from a non-Christian.
