What does the bible say about being intimate before marriage? what is ok,where is the limit? They say Intimacy is what make a relationship more than friends? All opinions and scripture welcome.

Eph 5:3 But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.

Romans 13:13 Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.

1 Cor 7:2 But since sexual immorality is occurring each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband.

1 Thess 4: 3-5 It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality;that each of you should learn to
control your own body in a way that is holy and honourable,
not in passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God.

I would say no sexual relations, at all.

Are you asking us to do the footwork for you? 'Cause I'd be more than happy to send you a bible. LOL Since the bible doesn't outright mention dating, seek God in prayer & leelee gave you some scriptures to get started.:)

Did you know it's ok to kiss a nun once or twice?
Just don't get in the habit.

well now... if you believe the Bible as a whole (step one, are you a Christian?) then you should honor where it says in Matthew 5:28, "But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." (NIV) and use that as a guideline for how you and your date dress around one another, how you conduct yourselves, and to what level your physical contact goes. You are each responsible for that which goes on in your own heart; however, you have a responsibility to one another to honor yourself, each other, and God by not inciting lust.

After that, I think any other advice I have on limits in dating may sound like Game & Fish regulations, unless I happen to be your father... I'm not your father. Respect Our Father.

Now how can I get that printed painted, etched, or otherwise legibly displayed on the dashboard of Every Car from the time my kids start dating until they are married? ;) shoooot fire, If I ever date again, I'll put that up in MY car.
I figure it'ld weed out the women that are not inclined to marry a religious fella and would rather label me some kind of Jesusfreak than choose to be with a man who wants to respect them.

Pre-marital sex is fornication, no two ways about it.

Dating is not scriptural, therefore there are no guidelines on it. Dating is a world-created system that encourages "trying things out" or "testing the waters".
Scripture says that if there is temptation, get married. Period.
Many want to say "What if this and what if that?" Yet scripture says that a double-mind man is unstable in all of this ways.
You either do... or you do not. There is no "I did, until I found out <fill in the blank>".
Sarah married Abraham, yet Abraham denied her and claimed that she was his sister. Sarah remained faithful. Abraham loved Sarah but was not without his faults.
Scripture says that a man and woman shall cling and become one flesh. It is also written to let no man divide that union. Yet many don't include themselves and become that man/woman that divides their own union.
If you seek firstly the kingdom of God and His righteousness, you will find that mate that will love you in the way that is holy and acceptable to God; despite their faults.
It is when we seek after our own way that we stumble into being unequally yoked. I speak as one that has fallen short in this as well.
The world has taken marriage and perverted it. Do not fall prey to the world's system. It is a system built upon fear, doubt, and unbelief. We know that our God has not given us a spirit of that, but a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. A sound mind is not one that wavers according to how one feels from day to day.
I hope that this makes sense and is helpful.
Remember that we are to not be conformed to this world, but transformed by the renewing of our minds. Seek what is holy and acceptable to the Lord, our God; not what is acceptable to this world.

Pre-marital sex is fornication, no two ways about it.

Something to consider Theopane. According to scripture, two consummate the marriage when they become one flesh. Therefore, according to scripture, fornication would be leaving that person for any reason except for the reason of fornication (that they had sex with someone else). Adultery is committed by someone outside of that union that "puts it asunder"... divides it, infiltrates within.
The world system says that two are married when they get a certificate. Yet the only thing God commanded to put in writing was a letter of divorce; not marriage.
So then, if two came together and became one flesh. They would only be committing fornication if they did not continue together and took on another mate. If they remained together, they would be honoring that holy union.
There are very few, but yet are, places in the world that do not practice or enforce marriage certificates. Yet the people that are married, are so nonetheless. Much like all of those that were so before certificates of marriage were created by the governments of man. The world system has affected many of our views more than we think, or would like to admit.
I recently heard a sermon about a remote island that exists today. The people of that island have no marriage certificates, yet they also have no divorce at all. They don't even have a word in their language for divorce and are not taught that it is an option.
Just some things to think about, consider, and seek God on as we strive to not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
You can google most of the information that I gave you and also find evidence of what I have said in the scriptures.
I think that if God's people had more understanding of these things, we would see much less divorce, fornication, and adultery in the church today.

These are all symptoms of an increasingly godless society, are they not?

...They say Intimacy is what makes a relationship more than friends? ....

I'm always wary of being misled by They. They can be rascally bunch.

My response to this varies depending on your definition of Intimacy. If you refer to physical contact up to and possibly to include intercourse by such a vague and loosely defined word, then see Theopane's response. If you mean a deep level of trust and emotional connection with another person, then I am intimate with several of my friends, male and female.
What, pray tell, are you getting at here?
