Can girls and guys be just friends? By friends I mean no physical attraction no love esq. Is it inquires for me to not like the girl my boyfriend is Bestfriends is with ? Am I'm insecure or is my gut feeling telling me something the friends ship between them had being going on longer then me and him have been going out and I know how girls can be sometimes. I've been cheated on before and am scared to deal with another am I insecure or just trying to stop something bad in its track. Isn't your girlfriend / wife supposed to be your Bestfriend ? If so why do you need a another girl Bestfriend ? Need guys and girls opinions on this am I crazy or wise ? - confused mostly

You're not crazy. It's okay to think about it.
Most people think that one of them is going to fall in love with the other. Sometimes one is going to. Sometimes not ;)
I don't think it matters if your bestfriend is a girl or a guy, it's just that you have to feel the 'friendshipfeelingthing' ^-^

It's all a matter of how serious the relationship is. Yes, guys and girls can be friends without it having to involve romantic feelings, BUT I think once you reach a certain point in a relationship there is really no reason for it, and it can cause more harm than good. I had friends that were girls when I was married, but we were really just friends at work. We never went out by ourselves, and if we were to go out it would be with several other people. There's just no reason for that one on one intimacy with them

according to Ephesians, Revelation, and other Scriptures, most people will hurt you whether they want to or not. most people everywhere will lie to you and deceive you and tell you they're your friends(yes - they will lie to your face and deny they are lying).

GOD is your best friend, by grace through JESUS. trust HIM, and tell HIM everything. (do not tell a man)

Guys can definitely be bestfriends with girls without attraction. I'm bestfriends with two of my best-friend girlfriends...I spend more time with one of them then their own boyfriend does but we know that we both are not attracted to each other and it is a platonic relationship. I have no desire to date them at all!


Definitely be vigilant cause it could happen, but if you know your Bf isn't like that then trust him, or talk to him about it. Communication is key.


Also although your significant other should be your best friend, that doesn't mean they can't be best friends with other people or no have friendships outside of your relationship. We are Bf/gf not cell mates, it's just life, you need to talk to new people and connect with new people.
