I don't care if the mexican dream is to get lots of social services from America, I couldn't care less if the government approves that.
I thought we were on a christian chat, and whatever dream is the mexican/american/italian dream it does not apply to us. The nazi dream was to have a full aryan world but that doesn't mean EVERYONE supported it. I sense that you were somehow disappointed in your life and maybe that's where your bitterness comes from, only you and God knows. Whatever it is, you should see that it's hurting you and you should do something about it. Pray God to help you,and even though I don't like how you think ,not even a little, like seriously:) I'll pray for you. I know there is a free of persecution Persecuted inside of you.

I assume by what you've said you've already read my previous posts about how whenever I go to church the ONLY issue the church cares about is raising MONEY for the third world. Also, the ONLY time I see Christians in public anymore is when they are raising MONEY for the third world. No more attempts to bring Christ into the lives of locals, just condemnations if you don't hork up some MONEY for them. Then they have all of their tv commercials with the slow motion pictures of the africans with flies crawling all over their faces. (Keep wondering why they need the shots in slow motion?) Anyhow, point is, they want MONEY. Like I said, I'm the wrong person to be harassing for these causes since I was already brutalized by Canadian affirmative action laws. But whatever, you're all a bunch of good race based socialists so you think this is all well good and just. All you gotta do is throw up one of those "I'll pray" or "Christianity is about so much more" lines in defense while the system gets ready to demand MONEY for all of the too many causes to respond to anyhow. I keep wondering why it is that after some thirty years of economic distribution changes through affirmative action, immigration, and previous donations that all the world's ethnic groups aren't taking care of themselves by now. Nope, the purpose of MY life is still to give everyone else MONEY.

Challenge: so are any of the christian aid groups gonna come out and say they don't need any MONEY for their projects? Because maybe they have such strong faith they can take bread and fish and bless them and distribute them endlessly to any multitude of hungry? No, don't think that is gonna happen... just more insistances of MONEY.

P.S. Its actually kinda cute how successfully some on here have melded global socialism into their religious beliefs and how they now can't separate Jesus from Marx. Strange that since its so much the same to you that Marx wanted to exterminate any and every trace of Jesus.

kayem, have I told you lately that you're awesome? :)

No fight left persecuted?

Then, stop. Seriously, stop whatever you are doing, pray. Then....fight the God fight. There's still so much that needs won before He comes again, not to mention, so many (that need won, because they are lost.)

GIving to those helping poor in other countries is what Jesus would do, like with water wells built, like poorest-of-poor children sponsored, like microeconomics (small business loans to Africa, Asia) like World Vision, World Concern, others, do, WAS your great doing. However, the bible is clear to note, Persecuted, that NO deed, the greatest deed one can possibly think up to help mankind, will GET YOU TO Heaven. None. Get to Heaven is so simple.... John 3:16 says it : believe :)
But, to topic, sorry, lost you, perhaps.
Ephesians think it's 2: 8,9
What does scripture say? I don't have verse handy, but will find it for you if you ask to: FAITH without works is DEAD.
OH, wait, that is how many believe, even some christians, I know this true because my dad believes 'that' and he is a believer. Surely, there are more. And, I'm guessing you thought helping poor to the tune of $50,000 would make you entrenched in your faith. But, it seems to me, by your words here you are bitter.

Do Christians get bitter? You bet ! You are not alone :) But, as my pastor says, 'don't get bitter, get better,' and, that comes with doing what? Forgiving others that have wronged you (yes, even your/our/all gov't you're upset with ). Forgiving yourself for being bitter.

Now, you must continue this process for the rest of your life, for human nature is never lack of things to uoset believers. For we must be in the world (as scripture states) but not of the world.

God bless your world. Get God in it, FOREMOST, persecuted, and 'it' (your world) as Howard Jones 80's POP singer sings, ONLY GET BETTER . :)

----((()))----

WAY TO STEP UP AND SPEAK YOUR FAITH, KAYEM. GOod words . :)

Hi Kayem. :) Honestly, I wouldn't take that guy's post so seriously, and I learned not to take them seriously at all anymore. He just loves to annoy people in order to continue his little melodrama because he loves hearing himself 'talk'. No amount of reasoning or common sense is going to make him slow down or stop, but thanks for trying! :)

You say that giving to other countries is what Jesus would do. Yet when Jesus was here he spent his time preaching and helping a very specific group of people. Contrary to the views of present day "christians" he never told his people to give up everything they were doing to mobilize a mission into Egypt or somewhere further south in Africa or even north into Europe. Interpret the bible how you want but the global mission was NOT part of Jesus' mission as per his actions when here on Earth. I think the phrase he said that you use to push your agendas was "the crumbs will fall to the dogs."

I'm still wondering why all of you have the endless talents to lecture ME on how to be a good christian (It really does seem to me that you're racists and think the white guy is always there for more improvement.) when you wouldn't dare say anything to any other group. Great words from Kayem? Didn't hear the answer of what she has done that equals my forced $50,000 per year donation through affirmative action losses. Or the speech about what actions Haitian/Philipino/Somali/Mexican/etc. christians should be doing for themselves. REALLY? The world's fortunes all depend upon what some white trash up in Canada decides to do. Oh, how this God you claim loves everyone equally must hate everyone else if their lives are completely controlled by whether I buy a bag of potato chips or chuck into somebody's donation bin.

So you suffered enough and nobody should expect anything from you because you already did enough? Hmmm. Look I'm so sorry those people didn't help you,it seems like they weren't compassionate, but I'm sure anyone who has lived a little has been disappointed at least one time. You fall, you get up, and hopefully you learn.
And no, I hadn't spent millions helping people, but I know there are lots of ways of helping, money is one of them, but it's not the only one. I was talking about compassion, compassion as you know now, is not always linked with money.
Sorry if you felt offended by my post but it really bothers me that you always make offensive, racist, sexist, discriminatory and self-pity remarks on your posts and that they may hurt and discourage some people on here who are struggling with faith. If nobody has shown a little humanity to you, maybe you need to show them what humanity is.
God bless you, I hope someday your wounds are healed.
Way to post, Kayem!!! It never ends with this guy, does it? But I'm pretty sure I know what his problem is. Check out the last page of the 'using church as a dating service' thread, and you'll see what I mean.

Persecuted I don't see the point of showing you a list of good actions and money spent in good causes, and I'm sure not even that would satisfy you. I see this is pointless, so I'll leave it here. God bless you.
And thanks Julianna and Green you are both awesome, Zero your drama queen cat killed me hahaha.
Let's return to the point of the thread, PASSIONS.:)

Oopsy, I apparently upset everyone so much they are now sitting around huggin puppies.

What I really don`t understand about all of you breed and feed christians is why you are convinced that it is God`s plan for ME to feed all of the world`s ILLEGITIMATE children. This belief must hold then that it is also God`s plan for all the people having ILLEGITIMATE children they can`t afford to have to be doing such. Not only do I completely reject your doctrine and hold that God did NOT put me on this earth to tirelessly feed all of those created of SIN but IF your breed and feed view of christiainity has any merit to it, that God clearly intended for me to be a breeder. As such it is my duty to impregnate as many women as I can and it is YOUR duties to step up to the plate and take care of my offspring whilst I go forth and find my next conquest.

Or are yàll saying that God came down to you and told you that by the color of my skin I am obligated to be a feeder whilst by the color of their skin others are obligated to be breeders... because honestly, this notion so many of you hold seems to suggest overwhelmingly that breeding and feeding is to be relegated to two completely separate groups.

I think I'll just let Jesus talk here. I couldn't find anywhere in this scripture where He made reference to skin color or legitimacy (as if children actually have a say in that...). Please let me know you if find any.

MATTHEW 25
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ 46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Awww you have one? I've read that they are very smart! Thats why I like them, and because I loveee their eyes and fur. Sadly, I already have 3 dogs, and I don't think they would be very nice friends, they are old and grumpy haha (I love them). If you want someone to take your dog for a walk, you know who to call :D

Interesting, you who personally said you'd chase men out of your church because you THINK that they MIGHT make a date with someone YOU don't think they should are against any form of preventative global maintenance. I call this hypocrasy, pure and simple.

P.S. Have you sold your car yet to feed all the people you say that you are obligated to?

P.S.S. When are you sending me some money to help feed my future children??

It's funny how you can see scripture and still don't see what it says. Those verses basically respond why you should help others in need, if you see it doesn't say you should sell your car and it doesn't establish a quantity of money that sends you to heaven. You help others because you love others. You love others because God loves us first. Love your neighbor as yourself, and love God with all your heart are the most important commandments.
Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?. Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.'' Matt 22: 36-40

We love because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19

Jesus also warns us to not boast of our actions, seeking for our own glory is not the point of giving.
But when you give to someone in need, don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Matt 6:3

There are countless times in the Bible were we are commanded to help, but as you see, the giving comes from love. When you love, you want to give, and is not just about money or a certain quantity. You can help those in need even with just words, with showing affection, etc and it's natural than that affection materializes to physical things like money, clothes, food. If all you see is people trying to steal your money, then you can't see the love that comes from the action.

Uh, huh, and I still say the greatest act of love would be to tell the third world to stop having kids out of wedlock and until such, the financial taps will be shut right down.

You know, that actually sounds good. You should make a trip to tell them about anticonception methods....but wait...they will need money to buy those things. Nevermind.:)
