He is just injecting style in his posts that provides a somewhat poetic voice.

I've always admired what he says for that reason. His words are typically succinct and often profound, but not devoid of expression.

Yea, it's just a means of segregating points.
Like:
1)
2)
3)

Paragraphs are fine for compositions, but get tiresome in posts.
Plus, to correctly convey different points you really need them separated.
A paragragh is used to fully describe different aspects of one particular point.
To throw many different points into the same paragraph is confusing to the reader.
 
It's so sad that there is a need for something that may sound as silly as "internet addiction treatment" buuuuuut it shouldn't be made fun or or taken lightly. People may feel great shame over this and they need support not ridicule and jokes even if you aren't directly making fun of someone. An addiction is a very serious thing no matter what it's to.
 
i suppose the world changes,years ago i was always reading going to the library,museums ect. people called me a "bookworm". it was a good thing in the old days the government and teachers endorsed it and thought you couldn't get enough of it. but now some one who spends a lot of time on the internet,typing,reading,researching ect. is not such a good thing,i guess,,
