Is God disappointed in humanity? He put us here with the intention we would be able to experience pure love and happiness I.E. Adam and Eve and the garden. But, we took a perfect world and made pain, suffering, sorrow. I understand that he is all knowing and understanding. But if I were to take a new toy that my parents gave me and snap it in half. They wouldn't hate me for it, they would still love me as their son. The would be understanding that I am a child, but they would be disappointed that I was reckless with the gift... Recently I have been wondering on topics such as this and my knowledge is so minute. I can't understand how God wouldn't be even a little disappointed...

God cannot deny Himself. Adam tore himself away from God and as a consequence his nature was changed from harmony to discord. It took the Incarnation and death of His Son Jesus to reconcile man back to Himself. God didn't hate Adam for it but had to Himself die for our rebellion in order to rescue us...now that is love.

I think it makes God sad to see his children stray, but he's always there the loving Almighty Father that he is.

Yea I'd have to agree. If there was a god up there and if his intentions for this world are accurate then yes, he would be bitterly disappointed about what we've all done to each other and the planet.

I am disappointed with my children from time to time. But even when I reprimand them, I still find myself so very thankful to have them to love and to guide. The love they give me more than makes up for any disappointments. :)
