Is the will of God drawing me towards this person?

Hi everyone,

I need some advice, As a back story I've dated a lot of guys in my past none being a following Christians, and let's just say the guy I'm about to talk about is different.
I am a freshman in college, and I decided to follow Jesus this year instead of just believe in him.
I dated a guy named justin for about 3 months and everything was amazing, but he was so busy with life we went out separate ways ( which is strange considering the week before he told me he never wanted to lose me)-- which makes me believe God is pushing me towards something else.
So then after we split I made a promise to myself to only date from then on a man who followed Christ instead of just believed.
I went on a mission trip and I can't really explain this but the first time I saw jake it was like I knew him before, it was like I almost felt pulled towards him. And I didn't know why. It had nothing to do with looks either. As we got to know eachother turns out we both went to Nicaragua over winter break on a service trip ( but to separate places, and took a picture at the same volcano)
Things got weirder, we both love traveling, God, service, and turns out we both want to adopt children from a 3rd world country when we are older on a funny note we both got kissed by a homeless person on that trip to haha....
Another crazy thing was Jakes friend Al, had a dream of jake and I holding hands and sitting in the back of the van on the way back home.
The mission trip was amazing but I was trying to focus on Jesus, when we got back home I couldn't get him out of my head, so I invited him to my formal, and yesterday we went and saw by a pond and talked about life, God, traveling,
He seemed exited that I would be near his town in the summer, and our dance is this weekend.
During one of the talks we had, he mentioned how so many people text all the time and our on dating sights and how you just Gotta let God bring people together.
And for some reason in that moment I felt as though, that's what God was doing.
Maybe his plans out differnt but I can't explain why I felt drawn to him before talking to him, why his friend had a dream, why my ex and I broke up before the trip, .... So many strange "coincidences"

What do I do?

What do you do? Enjoy life, enjoy his company and enjoy GOD together. Why is it that there is always a 'rush', especially in young females, for a 'sign' or a bonafied commitment or instant no nonsense event that just MUST occur? Those precious moments you just described is what real life is all about, the stuff you do between what you call LIFE. Does GOD always have you hit you over the head with a heavenly baseball bat to always get your full attention and make a biblical announcement that this boy (or any other boy) is THE ONE?

Take things slow. i've been in the 'this must be God' mindset when in the midst of a romantic, or potential romantic, encounter. I've had all the coincidences, etc... I no longer talk to them. In reality these coincidences don't mean a thing. A person having a dream doesn't mean it's a 'sign'.
The problem is when we are attracted to someone we're more prone to see things that tell us what we want to believe. Rather than rushing to get an answer why not slow down, take your time, get to know each other better. Continue to pray on the situation and see how you feel lead. Don't be in such a hurry. Even IF he is someone God lead you to it doesn't mean God intended on you to hurry into things with him.

I have to say my christian sister, it seems you are going upon how you feel. Everything you've said has been about how you feel. I am by no means someone to listen to just because I'm telling you your idea of love is flawed. What I am saying is this; you don't know a man or a woman until you see them around their family and friends, then you find out what they do in church, if they understand the bible who Christ is and questions like why did God kill in the old testament and what did Jesus come to accomplish and why does the Christ call for us as Christ followers to not murder, to turn the other cheek. What was the Christ coming to accomplish, what do you want for your kids? Do you think your child telling you they think their gay means their gay? obviously your theology is governed by the redemption of the King Jesus the Christ and understand that homosexuality is cultivated by friendship with gays..anyways a bit of a side track there, but there are questions that you really need to ask to see what kind of christian he is and whether you can come to an agreement on your foundation of who you follow and if you think he is a strong candidate to lay his life down for you then you approve....

Hahaa 100% troll approved funny

Another thing, things happening that seem like their lining up for you to go out with someone is just your romantic mind telling you you want the love of a man because your father didn't love you the way he should have or didn't give you the attention you deserved. Now I am not saying this at all in a harsh or bad way, its the same with 90% of the worlds women, they don't know the love of Christ through a fathers love hence forth romanticise every possible man that could be a spouse.

Rebecca St. James a virgin till she got married at age 33. check youtube, a beautiful and sincere woman who loved God, purity and new her value as a woman. No man is worth romanticising about until you've fought yourself enough to know that wow He/she lines up with what God wants for me. A man/women who relies on the king Jesus the Christ to fill up their love so they can better love me...Get out of your romantic mind and get into analytical mind. DO THEY FOLLOW CHRIST AND WHO ARE THEY TO THEIR FAMILY AND FRIENDS. ARE THEY AFRAID OF THE GOSPEL.

Sorry if I came across harsh...I've been through pain so I don't want the same for you. I had no filter on these posts.
