I've had these visions for years now. Layered on top of my regular sight. Does any bible related material say anything about them?

Visions were generally given to prophets in the Bible.

People today should look to Scripture to see if their visions are corroborated by things already revealed. It is possible that visions can also come from evil spirits, since we know that shamans also have visions.

I do not think only the prophets in scripture were given visions. I think God speaks to us as he wills and I believe visions are one such method.
