Is your bones fat?

• Pro 15:30 -> “The light of the eyes rejoiceth the heart: and a good report maketh the bones fat.”.
In regard to the bones, a good report is healthy. On the other hand, a broken spirit dries them:
• Pro 17:22 -> “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.”
It comes the question: what are we seeking to see and hear? Why do we insist on get in touch with bad news (as those which are reported in TV news)? The prophet was clear:
• Isa 33:14,15 -> “The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;”.
Many times, we excuse ourselves saying that we need to get informed. But if this information only keeps us off from people that Jesus brings to us in order to manifest His grace and salvation, if this only fill us up of feelings and thoughts that hurt us, what profit there is in it?
Instead of concerning about the feasible evil that the person can do to us, let’s believe in the greatness of the grace that Jesus is ready to pour out on us in order to overpower the sin of the person who intent evil against us (Romans 5:20).
So, have a profitable day strengthening your bones. How?
