it almost seems comical

our minds raise so many questions and yet we always know where we can truely turn. the only real answer is that there is no real answer. at least not one that we have the capacity to comprehend. and what are we left with? FAITH. we DO have a choice to turn to other means. we have so many opportunities to give in to something pleasureful that may seem to make sense but it does not complete us. this does not saturate our need for some type of deep, meaningful understanding.
somehow we know in our hearts. we KNOW within the deepest part of ourselves that there is more. SO MUCH MORE than this everyday merry-go-round. we HAVE to know that there is a GOD watching over those of us who believe. those of us who don't get so caught up in the everyday that we don't have time to think of the big picture. we all know that there are people, CHILDREN, who are starving. whose lives we could make better if we were truely given the opportunity. the tv and the news the radio and the government would make us believe that these problems will disappear by throwing our hard earned money at them. generous as this may be, how do we truely know that our efforts are going towards the aid of those in need? when will we truely be positive that our contributions have made a difference toward the bettering of the lives of those who have been broken by travisty? i will saythis and only this in answer to that point. search yourself. search deep within yourself. if donating money makes you feel like you are doing enough then please continue. it has never been and will never be my intention to disrupt any cashflow or volunteer effort towards any cause. but i do want this. and i want this for myself in a selfish manner which i do regret; i want to feel good, actually and fully good about something that i do with my life. it would seem that the only way this will happen is for me to get face to face with those i have the opportunity to searve. i'm thinking of a butler right now. a man (not trying to be sexist in any way ladies) who has devoted his entire life in service of a family. who waits on them and and foot. who takes their mistreatment with a smile. this service. this willingness to submit. this humble sense of propriety is onlythe humanistic uderstanding of something far greater. and turelyi feel remorse for those enjoying the splendor of having servants. we are all judged the same. there IS a GOD no matter what religion you take part in. there are and will always be consequences to every single one of your actions. existance is unreal. and it is sooooooo very real. i'm ranting now. i never mean to but when i lay my ideas down it always seems to lead to this. my name is Kevin James. and i am so far from perfect. but i will speak my mind on ocasion and i hope that my mind speaks to what your mind needs to hear at some point. just trust in yourself and the way you have been built. remember the lessons you have learned. carry with you always the souls who have touched you. we are all in this together and no matter what transpires we will all make it through in time

Interesting, but at the end you suggest I trust in myself. Every single time I trust in myself, I fail and disappoint myself. There is only one place that I feel comfortable placing my trust, and that is in Jesus Christ, my Lord, my Savior, my God, and the only one who will never fail my trust.
