the thing that always seems frustrating is that loneliness [not gender kind or romantic kind] but from never yet marrying and not having a single friend to talk to often / just no people available to share with and mingle with !
 
My heart goes out to you Hpesoj! I have been there... Isn't it crazy that in a world so densely populated there are so many that are lonely? I have found putting your trust in God and reaching out to others seems to help me. Feel free to email me if you ever need to chat :)
 
What gets me through loneliness is my KNOWING that Jesus is ALWAYS with me. I will never leave you nor forsake you, etc. Beyond that, beyond the spiritual battle, the best thing about these chat rooms is that you can find someone to talk with, especially the Christian rooms. We've been COMMANDED to take care of each other.
You hang in there. You are a child of the KING! He loves you more than you can imagine, and He has PROMISED to not let us go through more than we can handle.
I have this BOOK that tells us that, in the end......THE GOOD GUYS WIN!!! and that's US.
 
Singleness is tough , hjepso. I know, I'm single and been all my life.
I want you to know that God loves you soooo much.

God has a great plan for your life, does for all of us, and, heartful prayer does count to God but if His answer from your prayer doesn't't seem to bring wanted results, like companionship, then stay true still.God does not want us to complain, it is 'sin.' Look at the Israelites in Exodus, chapters 16 and 17, God expresses his anger with their not satisfied with what He was providing for them.

God knows what is best for us but sometimes we don't understand why it isn't't what we think is best.

What's even worst is we have technology to connect with people but are lonelier than ever.

I think the worse that happened after the fall was that God vacated the human spirit (man: the dwelling place of God. A. W. Tozer) so adam must've felt incredibly lonely whereas before he was just alone. Eve could probably only fill the gap so much and the same is true today. The only way to feel not lonely is knowing Jesus is with you then you're just alone.

I am also single and at times it works for my best because I get time to get intimate with the Lord.
 
Singing in your heart works, humming encouraging songs, Eph 5:19, it helps
