I am happy to go officially (and repeatedly) on record as being waaayyy pro! :)

I love all of it. Real celebrating that God the Father sent a Deliverer, I mean.
The Fulfillment of I forget how many prophecies...the Promise in a baby's body. Awe-some.
So I'll watch my family cut a tree and install it near the fireplace.
We'll string lights, and put shiny ornaments in it, some of which were made some 25 years ago by the hands of the children hanging them. ♥
We'll make egg-nog and cocoa and sing Hark! The Herald Angels Sing! and Joy to the World and God Rest Ye Merry Gentelmen and a dozen others.
We'll bake dozens upon dozens of cookies, and homemade cinnamon swirl bread, and Granddad's fudge and other yummy treats.
We'll carefully wrap a gift for one another and wait with expectant hope for the 24th, when we'll gather in the evening and Mark will read the story from Luke.
We'll ponder Mary's perfect heart toward the will of the Father, and ask Him for one like that. (be it unto me according to Your will...)
We'll thank God for the amazing grace He has toward us, and probably cry a little over it. We'll thank Him for His perfect plan, and that His plans never fail.
And then we'll go to sleep (the kids are old enough that they actually do that! lol) and wake on the 25th and sing and pray and read the scriptures a little more and then open our gifts one at a time amidst shouts of laughter (usually at the surprisingly thoughtful things the kiddos get for one another) and Mark and I will look at one another over their heads and smile and we'll know that we're both thankful for the same things. ♥

I can hardly wait!! :)

I don't believe Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah want me to participate.

i'm not looking for any one to tell me i should or should not.. for like all things i have listened to the Holy Spirit.

For the world around me understands not, i will pray for strength, comfort and guidance.

Cool! I'm ready for it. Sounds like we all (well most) are. Gonna drag out my kneeling Santa at the Manger this week!

But I chuckle. What I meant was Xmas vs Christmas; the use of the X in place of the word Christ.

:)

That's so funny!! Well, here's a classic example of how easily things get confused on the internet! :)

I rather like Christmas, though. Xmas makes it sound like
A) we're illiterate and don't know how to spell it (not that being illiterate in and of itself is anything wrong--just sad, IMO)
or
B) we simply don't care

Though there is that 'ichthys' idea...is 'X' the first character in it?

You mean that fish symbol that was so popular when I was young? It was "IXOYE" and stood for 'Jesus Christ God's Son and Savior'. In that the X was the hebrew symbol for Christ.
